Keep the puppy locked up - I think he is staring at me and not in a good way

LOL...I think Chiquita is right! be afraid, be very, very afraid!


I just need to teach this kid not to chase the chickens...Oy, but they are the only ones who will "play" with him.

poor kid is getting snubbed by the goats and the other dogs (who want to establish dominance, no doubt) We need to get him some rawhides to chew on.

but he is such an adorable and soft little thing. I foresee failure in making him a LGD because I cant keep my hands off of him and he's gonna bond to me instead of the animals he's supposed ot guard.

but baby steps for us. we are serious dog people who let them sleep in our bed and run our lives. the fact that we aren't letting him in the house is a big deal to us. and if we can get him to guard the front yard (and therefore the chickens in the front yard) then that will be useful to us. need to tighten up the elec fencing for the rest.

no one will "play" with him except the chickens, and they are seriously not thrilled about it.
