No need to be rude at all. Someone pointing out that it's foolish to not only attempt to break federal and international law but then brag about it on a public forum is just showing what is wrong with that picture. Responding with ridicule is simply showing more of the same. It's silly.

I was not being rude, I was pointing out the fact that you are like a dog with a bone...you won't let go....and calling someone ignorant is not being rude? I am not ignorant of ANY law, that pertains to me and my area....I will protect my investment as well as I can and by any means necessary....AND I will take any repercussions of doing so. Big brother is already looking out for me, you don't have to.

Ignorance is simply lack of knowledge, so no, stating that someone is ignorant is not insulting or rude. Everyone is ignorant about something. I did make the assumption that a discussion could be had, which is why I pointed out that it's my job...in this case, yes, I am Big Brother. I was not referring to ignorance of the law. Most people have a rudimentary grip on that one. The reasons behind the laws, however, is something most people fail to grasp. Why are most top-level predators protected? Particularly why are migratory predators protected? The law isn't there just to be a thorn in a chicken keeper's side. There are sound reasons for these laws. But, you appear to already know it. My apologies for getting you all ruffled.
