Hi everyone!!! Been a while since Ive popped in!! How is everyone?? On my last batch of hatching eggs for the Summer...cursed with a pathetic brinsea..broke down got a new one
My college girl is home for the Summer and Im in heaven...my other sophomore girl id working part time keeping busy...gardens in full bloom...planning my Fall craft show dates and im on vacation prepping decorated eggs!!

NAT! I see your garden is in bloom, how are the Pandora's Box daylilies doing that I sent you in 2012 from the WYGS? I've included a picture so you know which one I'm talking about

Gorgeous as ever!! Hi hi hi!!! They came up last year and ill pop down there shortly to look again!! I have not gotten a chance to weed that bed out yet;( how have you been!!???

I've been good......and busy! Took some meaties to the processor on Thursday and am glad to be done with them...until August when I get the second batch for fall freezer camp. I have only my Icelandic flock with a couple of Kathy's German New Hampshire hens and one Araucana hen (hatched from BYC eggs) for fun. I do have a couple of Barnevelder chicks with an Icelandic hen that raised them. I won a dozen eggs in an Easter Hatchalong contest and got two to hatch under the hen. I can't tell the gender yet....they mature so much slower that my Icelandics but one is larger than the other so maybe a pair. I haven't swapped much this year but keep an eye on the threads....just in case there is something I can't live without!

Good grief were in almost identical boats...Im cutting down alot this year...Im getting busier and busier and not a lot of time left to concentrate on breeding or anything...Im ok with it all too i have the CCLs breeding and love them..the golden copper marans..which then gives me olive eggers as well .and a ton of straglers!! Still have the same 6 ding bat ducks Ive had for 5 years...
kathy had sent me tons of her Nhs but my bator killed them all;( I dont do much swapping at all either but still check everyday as well...so glad to see you here

Hellloooo..want to know how special my day was today?? I bathed my frigging meat birds!! Yup I bathed my freedon rangers

Idiots kept laying down in their pooh getting all crusty nasty!! The stench was nasty.. So warm hose water and meat birds= wet sleepy meat birds. Half of them fell asleep as I was washing them off!!! Must be nice I hosed out their pens head to toe and replenished all fresh bedding...Sept 13th butcher date is not coming soon enough..the goats milk I soak their food in makes their pooh even rankier! Lol

Yup..call me for a good time! Hahaha

Ewww...those are 10x worse!!! Lol I only have 5 rangers plus 11 roosters Ive been fattening up real good...there were so many things I wanted to het done today and just wasn't feeling it...lol
