The Front Porch Swing

@Blooie
 ,   chiqita said that there are two foam inserts.  One is light weight and doesn't work.  The other is stiffer and studier.  Which kind was yours?  My box using our insert is on it's way from TX to La as we speak!!!!   Marraduna Basques.     Woohoo   :weee

Oh, gosh, Linda, I really don't remember.....I'm thinking they were were both pretty stiff. I'm in Salt Lake with Kendra at the moment, but when I get home I'll see if I still have the box and inserts in the garage. Sorry! Hope your eggs make it safely! I'm excited for you!

Couldn't resist this shot of Kendra at the Shriners' Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was such a good girl for Gramma! She's getting both KAFOs (knee/ankle/foot orthotics) and AFOs, which go up about mid calf. Excited for her, because this change might mean she'll have a much easier time when she tries to walk.

Don't worry about it. I forgot you weren't home. The eggs will be here probably tomorrow or Wed.

Aww! Love the picture and yay to both braces and easier walking! She is a cutie!

Yay on the good new Blooie! So happy to hear that she is getting everything that she needs.
She is such a little cutie pie.
Stay strong Grandma! Good luck and safe travels on the return trip.

You are all so kind with such good thoughts about Miss Kendra. Thank you all! She is such a gift to our family! I took this photo of her yesterday at the Shriner's Hospital while we were waiting to go in and have her casted. Ignore the hair (if you can) and focus on the serenity and peace in her little face. That unquestioning trust is why we all work so hard for her.

Amber, Scout is doing well. I just got back from Salt Lake City so I haven't been out there to check on him tonight, but Ken said he's taking his place with the rest of the flock and being a chicken again after being a patient for so long. Don't know if you've followed the updates on his page, but there's a video link there of him out in the coop. Thanks for asking about him.
