The Front Porch Swing

I'll buy. I even made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies out of my 99 cent squash today. Quite yummy. If I can make cookies, I can thaw out some of the banana goo in the freezer for our poor wounded Blooie. Are you sure that's what you want??? I suppose you want some cream cheese frosting on it???

You know me - I'll take anything, as long as it ain't chocolate. Oh, well, except for chocolate pudding...I do like that for some dumb reason. I thank you! <burp>

Feed the turtle? Crickets I have big fat black ones that enjoy my garage so not a problem!

Feed the injured Blooie? I make a fabulous lemon zucchini bread from my own heirloom organic zucchini.

I make no promises on the lurking and hovering. I am a mother of three girls and it is now my nature to do both.

Fabulous welcome though and that tea sounds great!

Are you sure you're older? I thought I was older. I'll give you a puppy right about now. Little miss not so very smart had 3 "not really accidents" on my floor today.

I will be 60 in just under 2 weeks.

I was planning on a dog somewhat larger than Maggie, but thanks for the offer

Can I just tell you all how great it is to see some movement on this thread again?? It has been so quiet, and it is one of my favorites.

We've been so busy this winter, it seems like there was no slowing down. My new coop isn't done yet, but could be with a full day's worth of work. Unfortunately, we don't have a full day to commit to it. DH has been working so hard out back clearing pasture for my horse. He's expanded on what he cleared and planted last winter, and is now grinding stumps so that he is ready to seed the beginning of march or so.

We have a small outfit logger here that is clearing all of our pine trees. We love trees. We don't love pine trees. The limbs break in ice storms, the bull pines crack halfway up and fall over, taking out everything in it's path. Plus, where pine grows, nothing else does. We want our hardwoods to have a fighting chance. So, this logger is just starting out and is insured. So far so good. We had an excavating company out yesterday to make a road from our driveway toward the back of the property. This had been a hillside, and we had to be creative when trying to go back that way on the tractor or 4-wheeler. Now we have a straight SAFE shot out to the back pasture and can also turn and go up to the barn with no worries. Merry Christmas to DH!

I can't wait for spring!!!
