Oh!!!!! The pain... the paiiiin!!! Cookies & cream cheese frosting! I have sorta kinda started some "low carb" eating today and I am already craving sweet! Ice cream, a big fat greasy drive-thru cheeseburger and fries, a bowl of frosted flakes... anything! hahaha I am pitiful!

Quote: My briefcase had the latest installment of my manuscript. Which included Journal number eight which was about a quarter full.... I can rewrite... and re draw the illustrations.... I t was really part of a first draft iteration. the more important stuff was the original registaration of the car which included grandmas address... And the Garage door opener... We now unplug the garage door opener at night ... But my son will reprogam the garage door mechanism. Now. But dang the violation... of security, privacy...

:th   What???? I missed that!  Deb found Gma's car?????  Great!!!  :woot    Why in the world would they take the walker and manuscript?  Weird thieves.....

It makes you wonder just a bit about some of the folks walking around breathing the same air as you huh? Hmmm...

I'm glad you have had such a good day. :)

We had a misty/snowy day here. Luckily the temps stayed around 30 degrees so the roads didn't freeze up. Got home and my silly dog must have sat out in the storm most of the day. He was soaked through and his curly coat was frozen solid so I made him get in the tub and thawed him off. He has a huge, 2 compartment, insulated doghouse - and sits out in the snowstorm ... maybe not the brightest bulb in the box, but he is such a sweetheart ya gotta love him.

Congrats on getting the car back, Deb! sorry that people can be such douffus'es .

Glad you had a good day Bee.

That is a beautiful welcome wreath.

Cute chick! congrats on the new beginning! I'm excited to see more pics! How do you like the EcoGlow? I have been reading up on them and I think I will save up for one to start the chicken hobby with.

Goodnight everyone.

What a pretty dog! What breed is he?

Soons we get the "stuff" left its going to go to the detailers....  They have every chemical available to clean whats left.  The seats and uppholstry are kind of a valeur....  The floors are a mess too.  I dont want to touch anything they left behind....

Caught him less than eight miles away....  While he was driving it.... This is a felony   This means guns were pulled and he went to jail so did his passenger.  They nailed him this morning and released the car at about one.... it took Grandma a couple of hours to find me....

It seems they took everything that was personal to the car and got rid of it then took everything that was them and replaced it all.  So I got some electronics ....  Car theft tools...  Some sort of charger for cell phones ipads and stuff that can be laid on top....  Then there is the firewood in the trunk and a very very good hand truck.  Its like opening the cedar chest you have in your house knowing all too well what is inside....  Treasures, and familiar things ... Only to find a deviled nest of trash and empty things....

I broke down while trying to get grandmas walker into the back ....  The tow truck driver came over and helped me put it in and reminded me that it was wayyyy better than most that they find.    I had to reset from the feeling of violation.

I cannot imagine the feeling of someone whos had their home robbed.

deb

Oh wouldn't that be awful, somebody coming in your house!

Inc ome the triage team .... two paddle charged with cream cheese frosting.... Charging... Clear... the paddles deliver the equivalent of Two cookies..... Clear... Three cookies... Boom.... Are you OK? ... Good to go with One cookie shoved in your mouth.  But Dang I still keep seeing the Chickie...

deb

Mine will be in lock down on Sunday. Going to candle them one more time then and trying to decide IF I want to place them in egg cartons to hatch or leave them lying down in there. I KNOW I will want to remove the hatched ones if they are tumbling the other eggs around and don't want to mess up with the humidity by removing the lid. So I am trying to decide what to do before lock down.

opps we wanna see some pix.

Ibejaran... Nice painting! :)

Maybe you could try listing them for sale on eBay?  Have a premium on them (a certain amount that you want and nothing lower) and then if someone offers something for them, you can decide whether or not to let the premium stand.

Beautiful job!

It's beautiful. There's a lady about an hour away that I give green eggs to on occasion for her to blow out and decorate but I've never seen one completed! I like it! Our conure just laid an egg and it's pretty small, but it's definitely tough. Too bad I can't just give it to you. :/

Thank you for all your compliments! I've been so lucky to find some people who truly love the eggs I paint. It is rare to find someone, however, who will see these eggs and love them the way I do as I paint them. It's a gift to feel that sort of kismet. That's why I prefer to do personalized eggs for people. They order it and I try my hardest to portray their vision.

I've thought about eBay, but I think I prefer for everything to be super personal. People on eBay are essentially bidding in something and for all I know, it'll be an impulse but that will end up in a box tucked away in their closet. These little eggs really need to be appreciated. I know, it's silly. I'm just weird, I guess, haha!

Having a conure egg to paint would be so cool! Mom and I were laughing today because we were playing of a game of "Which of These Things is Not Like the Other".

Hehe! My sister asked me to keep her cockatiel for awhile and she's laid a couple eggs. My sister told me to blow them out and paint them, so now I'm gonna have a couple super fancy (and small) eggs. They are actually next to some game bird eggs, which tells you how small they are, haha!

GUESS WHAT????  I have 6 chicks!!!  3 Americaunas and 3 Speckled Sussexs.  The feed store is getting Australorps in on the 19th and I put my money down for 3.  Guess who is smiling????  DH has the camera, will post pictures later tonight.

Lisa :)

That's so awesome! I'm glad you are starting out your flock anew. The chicks look so cute!

We couldn't go to the feed store today, so we are going tomorrow. Another chick died today, so I'm going to open up the brooder and see what's going on. I might need to replace the box I was using for them. I'm gonna see if I can find a huge box and just fill it with shavings and use a red heat bulb instead if a normal lightbulb. It'll be harder to maintain the temperature, but I think the humidity won't be as bad.

You have such a wonderful talent!! It's just gorgeous!

Thank you!

The painted egg is absolutely gorgeous!

Tomorrow is my birthday, I am so excited!  I love birthdays. I am turning 45 this year. :)  And it is supposed to be a high of 60 degrees tomorrow!

Michelle

Happy birthday!

I got called around 10PM today and found out something really spectacular.

I was hired as the lead graphic designer at a local print shop! I start working Wednesday, 40 hours a week! I thought I was only going to get a part time job but heck, I've never worked full time before! I'm pumped! So many exclamation points!

Mom is concerned about the flock now that I'll be working so many hours, but I can handle work, chickens and bring about world peace if I put my mind to it. :D
