Oh this is what I got this morning.

Very nice. Do you know the history behind it. I would like to know. Is it a reproduction? My husband is just starting with a forge and will be recreating some swords.

What am I seeing here. What kind of trap is that? No guns allowed on place so I may have to improvise.

You can't buy it. Well you kinda have to. Unless you dig the hole deep enough. Well it is a mix between a hole and some traps. It doesn't kill them if you trap them like that though. You would still have to shoot them. Or with a bow.

Ok I couldn't afford an electric grain mill so I bought a hand crank one. No more than I do at one time it will suffice. I bid on it and ended up paying $33 but I found this one cheaper later.

Morning all, son settled in and we got another story tot tell folks about life here now. Got lucky I swear I didnt have two coins to rub together yesterday and I made a call to the man who was to recieve money from my hubby. He said yeah I got it see you in 30 minutes. Told son and daughter lets go we can get some shopping done quickly and grab internet cards and then get dinner and call it a day. God had other plans. Son was walking back from a shop that sells the cards and stepped up an embankment and caught his big toe on a sheet of metal fencing that had toppled in the rainy season last year. I took one look and said clinic. I got 6 places close to my house but only 2 are free. Others are ran by outside groups and you pay fees for services. When I compare to us prices its like our copays. Free hospitals even meds can be free if they got it in stock. Before it was common for stuff to be stolen and shipped out or sold to others, still happens but now most is shipped out cause people got wise and tore up places that had cheated people. Anywaysboth free places were closed and it was nightfall. First my car is big, wanted by criminals, full tank, driven by youth, well im not going to the main city. So we took chances that we would find services after dark. Staffing can be an issue, plenty of nurses and help but doctors pick and choose their work times. MANY have still recieved no salaries in over two years. Many good doctors and talented folks leave the country now sadly cause of pay problems. Government pays many salaries and when there is problems well like anywhere whos checks dont get received? Yep the people who do the most...doctors, teachers, poor folks. Well we got lucky and he was seen, he said they gave him 4 shots in the toe and before it was numb, cut it off with a razor blade. Didnt hear him yell so he was man enough. He came out short time after I dont think we spent 15 minutes. You really got to hear about office visits here one day. Maybe that can be my next blog story. Anyways we dropped off a young man who helped me take him and son said another store that sells internet cards was few blocks down. I went inside got the cards and got home. Found the gate to the house bolted closed and we had to call one of the girls to come down an open the door. Got upstairs and ate dinner, treat of ice cream and tried to call my hubby. Couldnt get through so left him a message. Its morning and I got babies to feed, and go up check on the dogs and more chickens. Then go buy animal feed and I got plans to see the house on tuesday so need to go tell bil so he can check it out and give family approval. They dont realize I was a broker for 15+ years, cause women dont know nothing lol. But im playing dumb on stuff so I can get a good price too cause it will need stuff and some things in this house I cant take with me and until my stuff from usa comes im going to be pretty empty. But I want to move one room at a time since I dont want much attention being made of a woman alone moving into a place. Hope the folks around it are good people. And I need to find clinics, stores and such around there for my daily needs. With the youngest being diabetic I can never be too far. There is a program for nurse helpers here im going to take. You can buy any medical supply you want and I want to learn iv. I know cpr, first aid and hazmat from jobs and education requirements but want iv skills. Most families got a few medical techs in the family so if your alone they will come to your house. Oh and here doctors make housecalls, give you their personal cell numbers. And if your medically needy such as diabetic they give you a monthly allowance for treatment. Yep, im happy. Well them animals arent feeding themselves. So dusting my butt off, see ya later.
