The Front Porch Swing

Bee, fracking is really dangerous. It releases gases that has caused several houses to explode. And you're right, it is causing cancer and other sicknesses. I'm definitely not what would be considered a tree hugger but fracking is wrong and you are so right, the people where it is done will pay dearly - with their lives!

They have moved fracking to a whole other level since I was young. It's much more deep and bigger now. Used to, if someone fracked a gas well in your area you would get gas and oil in your water well, rendering it useless, but that was the extent of the damage. Now you get major chemicals in all the ground water, rivers, streams and it stays there for years upon years, tainting the microorganisms, the wildlife and the humans that live there.

I don't worry about it much..it is what it is and it's here for now. This world is winding down and big changes are going to happen soon. I won't be here to see them, but it will resolve these issues in due time.

I wonder if it is really that hard for these big companies and our government to see that they are actually FOR REAL destroying the planet? It is pretty sad that they care so much more about money. It is just crazy to see all that is happening all around us- sinkholes, damage from fracking, earthquakes, draughts, fires, this unusual winter and the mysterious "booms" heard all across this country and in others. As the bible says, the earth is definitely "groaning".

Your right, it is quickly coming to an end. It is like we have reached the top of a hill now we are speeding down the other side with no brakes!

You and I don't have to worry about that, though, do we?

Who needs brakes when you can fly?

I just walked into my bedroom and caught a strong whiff of the FF in there and had to chuckle...not only am I keeping chicken feed in my bedroom, now I've got a broody nest in there too? Before you know it, Fat Cochin will be sleeping with me.

This is a very small bedroom, so it's funny how many things are going on in there. I'm also storing the chicken I canned this winter~ in my closet. Good thing I don't own much in this world or there would be no room for all this stuff in that tiny room.

You are right, no worries. :) I know that if I were to land at the bottom of one of those sinkholes, I know Somebody that will know exactly where I'm at and won't have any problem getting me out. lol But I do just have to shake my head at the total ignorance sometimes.

hahahaha Fat Cochin could roost on your headboard...? Just be sure his butt is turned toward the wall! LOL

I don't have much of a headboard and there would be no room there...he'd have to snuggle right in the bed with me. I think he would do it...he seems so very docile that I bet if I put him on that bed he'd just lay down and sleep. He was destined to be someone's house chicken, I just know it. I wouldn't put it past him to take a big interest in any chicks that are born and want to mother them.
