The Front Porch Swing

GREAT idea, will check around for some, will also help provide support for the dog kennel itself, it is kind of bowing in. How long do they come in again?I think 12 -14 foot would work.
If you want to cut them use an angle grinder.... Short lengths can be repurposed for gates or barriers if they are covered with chiken wire.... Your partitions. It takes a very small amount of extra to elevate the center to make a hoop. If they still push out your kennel panels all you have to do is run a cable across from panel to panel to restrict the bow.

If you are going to use them as a hoop over the kennel panels you only need an extra foot over the whole width. Otherwise the kennel panels will try to lean out instead of in.

Yep...I've found that a woman has to work smart instead of hard, because she doesn't have the physical strength that the men do...gotta use our heads.  Speaking of which....do you all have access to cattle panels or PVC pipe you can use to form an arch over those dog pens?  Sure would stabilize those tarps, cause less wear and tear in the wind and shed the rain better.  Doesn't have to be all that tall, just slightly bowed will do it.

THAT is toward the top of my list of things to do!

The sides on my 7X13 dog pen are pushed in to where I had to brace them inside (from rain not running off well enough). Putting cattle panels inside arched is going to fix that and going to make the rain drain off. It is going to be so much better when I get it done!

If you don't have an angle grinder, a sawsall will do nicely.

What if I don't have a clue what either of you are talking about

I LOVE having our own personal brainiac. :) I don't know how long it might have taken me to figure out the cable part. LOL

Speaking of men losing tools... I believe the boyfriend's angle grinder is still in the henhouse and his sawsall sort of thingy is in the garage. Good chance he doesn't have a clue where they are. ha! Love a man with tools! ...and he'll be so happy when he sees them again. lol
