Okay dinner tonight, will be on the rotation:
Ranch dressing seasoning, mixed with 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup on milk
Pour that over some chicken breast (about 1.5 lbs) let that sit for at least 40 mins (to soak)
Fry some bacon (however much you want, I used 6 strips)
After you pull out the bacon, strain some of the grease but leave some with the "bits" in the pan.
Crumble bacon on top of chicken
Pop in the oven
Okay here is where I messed up a bit, I think 400 for 25-30 mins would work, I did 375 for 30, then 400 for 5 and it was a little over cooked. After you pull it out, let set for 5 mins (it looks a lot worse than what it taste
)
While that is going on, throw some fresh green beans in your pan with the bacon grease, add salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. Saute them with a lid on top for about 20 mins or until desired "cookedness". I like mine pretty soft but not mushy.
Serve hot
Sorry for the odd directions, came up with this myself tonight, it evolved as I went along.
I would not feed this to guest, only because the the way it "looks", if you make it you will understand, but my super picky DH LOVED it, his comment was "Wow, this taste a ton better than it looks". Then I was asked by my super picky son, to "add it to the meal plan". My DD and I are the only ones in the house that will eat pretty much anything, I have the "booty" to prove it, working on her so she does not.
