You look just like you type! I've not been brave enough to just whack all my hair off to almost nothing. Would probably be easier. I finally stopped wearing skirts about 10 years ago, don't think I own one anymore. Nothing to wear to church either. My parents (80s) keep asking why I don't go to church, well, according to the church people, church isn't for people like me. Waiting to find a local group that wants to do bible study on their own time instead of support a free-loader with ideas about what's acceptable appearance in church and what's not.

LOL!!! I never would be caught dead in a dress in the past (as a teen either). HATED them. But now I've gotten so that I actually enjoy wearing one, especially if it's insanely hot and humid. I also hate getting my hair cut (what a waste of money) or make-up, so ditch the make-up (wouldn't know how to put it on anyway), and have shaved my head to nothing - 1/2" once every 3-4 years since I was 21. Then it grows back. Wash it every couple days and TA-DA!

My husband has to tell me what is presentable when we go to events, I wouldn't know (or more than anything, I wouldn't care). But for him, I'm happy to dress up every once in a while. It seems more like a costume party than anything when I do!

As for going to church, I'm not exactly the church-going type. Let love, altruism, and community lead the way.

As for chicken chasing/eating dogs - If my dog got out and chased the neighbour's cows (it did happen once this past summer), I'd make sure that he didn't do it again. If he got shot, that would have been MY fault. And if he did it again, then I would either find him anew home or deal with it myself. But, he doesn't run after them anymore - got his energy outlet elsewhere, and a little training (and a little age doesn't hurt either).

OK, one more then I have stuff I have GOT to go do.

The old lady party!!!

Reminds me of a story of an old greek village where all the ladies got together at night and celebrated being female. The oldest lady there had a giant smoked sausage and all the ladies lined up to take bites off it. I have no idea where you want to go with this one but it sounded like a great way to ease frustration.
