I was taught to put my babies on their tummies. So they wouldn't choke if they threw up in their sleep. Go figure.

Yep...everyone was and it was for a good reason...because the can and do aspirate their throw up when on their backs. It actually happened to my middle son..twice. Dad just happened to be walking past his bed and saw him lying there~ blue in the face~ and picked him up and shook him a little to get him to breathe. Never put a baby on his back again...if Dad hadn't been there, Eli wouldn't be here. It was that close.

I want to read this tread! But I spent all my BYC time today googling stuff for other people. Hey, if you can ask ME, you can ask google.

You have NO idea how many times that thought has run through my head in the past 6 yrs.....

The amount of patience you demonstrate typing the same things over and over and over and over and over ... mostly for you it is right after someone has said, "I don't want to bother myself by *reading* this thread where I *know* you've already answered this question too many times to count, so I'll bother you with some copious amounts of typing." You are lucky you have God on your side to make you so nice. I'm more like this:

Yes..it is most fortunate that God reminds me of how many times I've asked Him why or how to do something when it's right there for the reading, repeated over and over in His word.

Sometimes I'm not patient and will suggest they read, just like the rest of us...it all depends on their attitude.

Especially the ones that want "proof" of what we are saying, won't take the studies that are already listed in the thread and want me to find them all again and compile them for them in a single post and expects them to be done at only in the countries they deem fit to conduct scientific experiments(THE US ONLY... BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT ALL IMPORTANT SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY WAS DONE HERE IN THE US) before they will believe anything of what is anecdotal in the thread....then I lose all patience. God please forgive me.

Yes. That's about the time I tell them that I will not spoon feed them and they can feel like an instant genius if they only use the Google feature like I do.

I would like to take this time to apologize for doing you this same way on the FF thread. But I also want to thank you for being patience with me and holding my hand when I was so unsure of what I was doing. I am so glad you was there to give me advice and show me the best way....... my chickens thank you also.

So funny! You don't have to apologize...can't you see I have no life and these threads are my only form of a social life?

Believe me Bee, I am the one that has been blessed by meeting you here. My husband and I will be riding our motorcycle to your beautiful state this June, and I told him "I sure wished I knew where Bee lives and we could stop and take her out for supper". I can just tell that we share the same Spirit living within our souls and that my friend causes me to feel close to you even if it is only through the internet.

Honestly, I don't! I've streamlined my chores to such a degree that I have tons of time on my hands until spring....I LOVE talking with all of you!
