I was taught to put my babies on their tummies. So they wouldn't choke if they threw up in their sleep. Go figure.First baby 1970![]()
Yep...everyone was and it was for a good reason...because the can and do aspirate their throw up when on their backs. It actually happened to my middle son..twice. Dad just happened to be walking past his bed and saw him lying there~ blue in the face~ and picked him up and shook him a little to get him to breathe. Never put a baby on his back again...if Dad hadn't been there, Eli wouldn't be here. It was that close.
