I have ANOTHER new layer! This one is a bantam Buff Cochin, that hatched under a broody last Sept! Now we are waiting on her sister to start, and everyone that is old enough will be laying. I'm still waiting for another egg from the BCM, unless there is one down there now. I'm heading down to close up and do the last egg check now!

So glad to have you up here. Sit by me....I'm a Green Bay fan. I'd better be, Ken's stepdad (of wheelbarrow fame) was one of the first to buy stock when they started offering it for public sale,since he's originally from that area. Are you close to Luxemborg and do the names Sheffy or Shefchick ring any bells? I'm kind of a pediatric home nurse too...give lots of meds to our granddaughter daily, catheterize her 5 times a day, and she gets a cone enema every night, besides her physical, speech and OT therapy. I've always wondered about giving a baby "occupational therapy." Just what job are they preparing her for? We'll be thrilled if she relearns to stand at this point!

Blooie ~ The name Sheffy is not familiar. I live west of G.B. so Luxemborg is about an hour from me. Hopefully your granddaughter is doing well. I know "occupational therapy" is an odd name, I always thought so also. Keep working with her. I have seen some remarkable things happen with lots of love and therapy. I am sure she is receiving both.

Kendra is our champion! We will do anything on earth for her...she's had a Guardian Angel on duty since conception! She's hell on wheels in that wheelchair, too! Figured out that she can go way faster on the basketball court after Evan's games than she can on carpet at home, so the minute the final buzzer sounds and Jenny gets her jacket we have to catch her!

WOW....see, never know who you'll run into on the Front Porch! Our favorite of the bunch is Sister JoAnn...she's such a hoot! When the Church changed from the long habits to the shorter style, she said the first time she wore one she ran into someone in the corrider of her building who looked at her in total surprise. She said she smiled back at him and said, "What did you think I had under there, wheels?" Love her to pieces!

Anyone heard from Ms Jellybean in recent hours ? I saw on the news a bit ago that North Texas was having some severe weather. Prayers to all those folks going through the stress of dealing with tornados and as well as with the Fort Hood families.

Heaven forbid that you have to wash by hand.

After living with one for 35 years I moved a few years ago to a small apt. with NO dishwasher. It was almost a dealbreaker

I love this dishwasher. The people we bought from may not have known much about painting and remodeling, but they picked out awesome appliances. I have a Bosch dishwasher and stove. I did wash my dishes by hand last night and I always wash my pots and pans by had.

I'm here and safe. Was just checking in to let everyone know what was going off. We have big storms, tornados and hail all around us. So far so good where I am.
