Good job on the diary... I did that with Weight Watchers.... Only counted portions which were specified. I lost 56 lbs n 26 weeks. Kept it off for two years. At the time I was around 195 when I started. I was loosing appx 2.5-3.0 lbs per week sometimes more. I walked at lunch time half an hour. Then came home changed my clothes and went to the barn where I boarded my horse. I would trail ride bareback for a couple of hours.... Riding for a few miles and walking for a half mile or so.
After riding I would clean my horse up put away tack and give him his treats. Then I would go home and shower and change to go out dancing..... I would dance at least four to five times per week at my favorite country and western place. Two of those nights were Clogging nights.... Tap shoes and high heels ..... even at 200 lb s I could do a bell kick....
But the combination of Steady caloric intake and the added exercise of Walking at lunch leveled my weight loss out. When I was done I was back into a size twelve..... Pre highschool size.
But I am done with "programs" or fads... If weight watchers was the same program now as it was then I might have some success.... Because I cooked all my food.
Atkins or low carb makes me feel good.... I cant do it hardline though.... fermented food is intriquing... I love plain Yogurt.
I have been on Optifast, Airforce diet, Grapefruit diet, Low carb, Weight watchers, HCG shots, Phen Phen, Jenny Craig, Weight watchers again, EVERY time I have gained the weight I lost back and then doubled it.
I thought when Katee came into my life that I would loose some weight. And I did... Training a driving horse makes you walk for miles with long lines teaching the horse to be a driivng horse. And it was working.... Driving walking long lining Keeping up with a big strided horse...
Then I broke my ACL and my progress was smashed in one fell swoup.
