Mine too! That was really funny!

Just got a call from Jenny. She's taking Katiebug in to get a haircut this morning - something called a "short stacked bob", whatever that is. Katie's only had one other haircut in her life, and that was almost 3 years ago. Her hair is extremely thick, kinky curly in the back and straight in the front. The last haircut was a disaster - the lady blunt cut it almost to Katie's ears and it looked really cute for about 2 hours. It was always really curly, but after that the back started forming dreadlocks every night that had to be combed out every morning. Her hair texture is strange - if you hold an individual hair in the light it's wound just like a guitar string. So I'm not real sure about this, but I'm also not the mother who has to deal with it every day. Photos to follow, I'm sure.

My local grocery store actually carries eggs produced in Centre, Alabama. I always get brown ones because they look like my own eggs. They're not QUITE as good, but they look "real". They're freckled and different sizes and colors and they have imperfections.. that to me makes them ok.

Must be real eggs from real NOT "egg factory" chickens then!

I had a rabbit named Dinner. We found him outside.. he knocked my other rabbit up. The female was twice his size. We had no idea what happened, until a month later.

And no, we didn't eat him. Too darn small!

We have a dog named Bagel, which stands for Big ol'.. The other dog is William, which stand for Will, which stands for Wittle, which stands for Little. It's the size of the stripes on their forehead

It's how we used to tell them apart.

My cat's name is Scooter. The rescue lady we got him from names her cats after news paper headlines the day they come in. Scooter Libby was in the news at the time. We tried to rename him, but we never did come up with anything better.

Harley B. Binkerton is my other cat, although we call him "Bonk" most of the time. He's not very graceful... and fat. He's called Harley because he sounded like a harley when I got him. He was the ugly runt of the litter, really clingy, since all the cats beat him up. I recall everyone telling me to get one of the pretty ones, but I wanted the sweet one instead.

Poor thing got into a fight recently, he's got a bald patch on his head, I think Scooter has been licking it bald. It's kind of oozy looking. He's a speshul kitty... he's got what seems to be a small hernia on his back, he has good days and bad days.. some days it's swollen, others it's fine. He has no neck. His head is like attached to his shoulders

He's a beefcake. And Scooter is thin as a rail. They're a funny pair.

Your description of the cat grooming the dog cracked me up. My 17# cat used to groom our 17# boston terrier very well. He paid particular attention to the ears, and that soft spot behind the ears on the neck. Then, he'd wrap his paws around the dog's neck and sink his teeth in. Did the same thing to my pet rabbit... but i always took the rabbit away before he took his tasting any further.

I have 2 cats, one named Buddy. He's a big grey cat, excellent mouser, only he usually eats just the heads. He's my dog, gallops across the lawn with hind legs flying in many directions at once. The other one is also grey, tiger striped. His name is Spot. People are always perplexed. Why is the striped cat called spot? Only evident when he yawns. Has a black spot in the roof of his mouth. Love your kid, dog, and cat pics TTMom. It's awesome to watch the interaction between a cat and his dog.
