We have a live in maid. I bought him last summer. Every weekday, at 2pm, he vacuums the house. And he's very polite, always asking me to empty his container and clean his filter, and thanking me afterwards. Sometimes he get's stuck, and then he asks me to free him. His name is Mr. Neato.

We had a Roomba a couple of years ago - loved it!! He was a great help with the animal hair, but I still had to actually vacuum the carpet once a week to get the actual dirt out. Roomba was only a sweeper, but just sweeping up the hair from 3 dogs and 2 cats was huge!
But Roomba died, he got stuck under the chair one too many times I think; he couldn't seem to find his way back to the charging station and I got tired of carrying him back to his home-base all the time. Plus he freaked out the cats, it was hilarious. Ya think they would get used to it and just leave the room or something.

Ma used to say, "The Bible says we came from dust and we will return to dust. So there's a lot of people either coming or going in my house and I'm leaving them alone!"

Her other one re dust was, "I was going to dust the furniture, but I looked around and everything already had plenty." I miss her!!

I love your mama, she and I think alike. I just finally got all the chicken dust cleaned out of the nooks and crannies. LOL Had to tear my printer apart and spray canned air to get it to work again, but regular dust bunnies can just hang out with me.

Oh. My. Gosh! Um, I'd just take a backhoe to that and start over! lol! Joy of children Sometimes I just walk into whatever room my son is playing and turn around and walk back out! I can't even deal with it! I have to leave before I start to cry or scream.
