I would love a living tree,  but hubs is all about cutting down his own, as it's a tradition.  I like to plant them, not kill them. To each his own. Maybe I'll get a tiny one too. Last year I bought rosemary trees to plant in spring. Sadly cats peed on them and killed them both.

Oh no! Bad cats! Growing up we use to go cut down a tree, but that was in oregon, my husband grew up in Southern California, so I think he was use to seeing no trees, then people killing trees to put up then throw out, so those are his views. I don't have a problem with it as there are trees all around us. My son loves the Lorax book, so he likes a live tree too for now.

we drove around yesterday to look at lights. Still early, so they weren't all up, but we saw some.

I will. I'm still trying to convince him to put some lights up outside too. so far no go. He is the man of the house right now and the man says, "I am NOT getting on a ladder. Nope."

Ok guys. I'm looking at the picture of my sons letter to Santa (already mailed) and the two Vs next to eachother with feathers on them look like a part of the male anatomy! Lol. Oh my gosh! Just laughed so hard! Hope it gives Santa a giggle!

Omg you should have! Haha! I laughed so hard! I guess kids say and draw the darnedest things! So funny! On a side note, I hope the two Vs isn't so Santa will get him two velociraptors, because Santa only got one.

I saw the drawing, went "Oh my!" and then had to read the post to check what it actually was. I went south right along with vehve!
