Next year my layers will be laying and I'll make my own egg nog. Love it. Thinner, not the whipped cream thick stuffNope didn't see that tree, only the one in your avatar. I did notice that the two of you look VERY similar in your Italy avatar.
Man that Glögg must have quite a kick!
I found a recipe for "Old Fashioned Swedish Glögg". Port wine, rum and Bourbon whiskey. One wonders just how "Traditional" it is given 2 of those come from the western hemisphere.
Found another for "classic Scandinavian" Glögg using red wine and brandy. A bit easier to believe this is a classic.
Blanched almonds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, orange and raisins seem to be common. Most definitely a different drink than the thick milk and cream based egg nog. Though I see there are egg nog recipes out there that won't taste at ALL like the stuff we buy at the store. Rum, brandy, bourbon. Starting to sound like the thick version of Glögg!
Wonderful, honey, you all look so happy. Your man is looking good with all that weight loss. Proud of him. Second picture is the best, your pretty face shows better without the tongue.
We got married yesterday. All casual like.![]()
Just the five of us and a minister in the park at sunset. Johnathan got to "walk me down the aisle".. which meant walk 20 feet while the minister played a song on her phone haha Sort n sweet ceremony, rings blessed, some verses from the bible, Johnathan jabbering straight through itJust glad we didn't do big and fussy, my kiddos dont fit into a big and fussy ceremony. Silly, that's more our style.![]()

The insert cost me $7.58 shipped free and I had them ship to her. I can buy these for $6.each in lots of 10 and that's the way I'm going. The hole was large enough for duck eggs so she just put a tad of bubble wrap in each hole. I'm sold on these. And the joy of it is I have it to ship eggs out now.![]()
