I used to make this one:

Black Bean Brownies
Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes
Servings: 20 servings • Serving Size: 1 brownie • Old Points: 2 pts • Points+: 4 pts
Calories: 138.1 • Fat: 2.6 g • Protein: 2.9 g • Carb: 28 g • Fiber: 1.8 g

  • 15 oz can black beans
  • 19.5 oz box chocolate brownie mix
Open can of beans, drain and rinse well. Put beans back in the can and fill can with water. Put beans and water in blender until smooth. Mix pureed beans with brownie package mix. DO NOT add eggs or oil. Spray baking dish with Pam. Cook brownies according to package directions. Cool and serve.

Thanks. I put the recipes in new tabs. Will look at them later. The gluten free ones, I may make for my next small group meeting. There's 2 gals there who can't do gluten.

Rebekah's gluten free brownie recipe:

1 stick butter
2 oz unsweetened bakers chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs (from your chickens of course), medium if you don't have large eggs. We sometimes pair a small egg with a huge egg but the total grams measure out to 2 large.
1/2 cup flour (*)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

melt butter and chocolate
remove from heat
add sugar and mix
beat in eggs
add flour and salt - mix
add vanilla
pour into brownie pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes

(*) All purpose gluten free flour - makes 3 cups
1 1/4 cups brown rice flour
3/4 cup sorghum flour
1/3 cup tapioca starch
2/3 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon xanthan gum

I just make 'em to get nutrition into my kiddo

so lentils and oats are key.

Well, my chicken plan has been moved back a little bit. I just found out that my nephews wedding is at the end of April down in Missouri. We will be taking our camper down and be gone for about 9 days. without anyone reliable to come and tend birds, I will just wait until May to get the chicks. That is over a month later than I wanted to start, but oh well, we will deal with it.
looking forward to spring! snow forecast for tomorrow.

<AHEM> I have an announcement to make...... <AHEM> Um, I don't know why "AHEM" seems to be the thing to say before an announcement, but who am I to quibble with tradition!

I'd like you all to meet Miss Madelyn Grace, my second great-grandchild! She was born at 8:06 this morning to my grandson Jamie and his amazing wife Rachel, and she tipped the scales at a healthy 7 pounds, 5 ounces. She will join big brother Landyn, whose 2nd birthday is in two weeks! I'm busting my buttons here!! WATCH IT!! DUCK - HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE!!
