The geese hate my clothes

This morning was very chilly and rainy, so I went outside with a crocheted colourful blanket, the first time they ever saw anything of those colours. Boy, was my gander cute while hissing at me! It sounded like he had a lisp ^_^ I immediately thought back to this thread.

So far, my geese don't seem to be bothered by anything I wear, but they HATE when I sneeze. I was doing dishes this morning and sneezed inside the house. Fourteen of the geese were out in the back yard and the moment after I sneezed I saw their heads all shoot straight up in the air. Less than a second later they were all looking the window yelling their heads off.

This happens every time they hear me, and only me sneeze. I like to think they are telling me bless you.

When I first got my geese, I had some stripy black and white wellies that I wore out in the garden. Eventually, they got holes, so I had to replace them and bought some dull green ones instead.

My poor geese. I walked out to give them some cabbage as a treat, and they ran away from me screaming. Even when they realised I had greens for them, they would only approach sideways, grab the cabbage, and then run for it, in case my Evil Green Feet decided to attack them. It was really very funny.

(They did get over it. Now they are slowly getting used to my fluorescent cycling jacket as well.)

 sooo funny!

My two have gone to nibbling on my rubber Crocs...much rather they do that than nibble on my legs!
If I don't have on a ball cap or hat when I go out, they are much more noisy.
