I have 20 chickens. I get like 1 egg a day . Maybe it's because...
6 chicks (20-6=14)
2 broody's raising the chicks (14-2=12)
1 more broody with an egg (12-1=11)
2 molters (11-2=9)
1 rooster (9-1=8)
3 not ready to lay (8-3=5)
1 who is hiding eggs from me (5-1=4)
4 who are scared of the big broody in the coop (4-4=0) AHHH. Good thing my hatching days are over! I've actually run out of eggs. That's horrible! Next year, I'm buying chicks. In fact, like 4 EEs. Yayyyy

You need more hens the same age and maybe a few more roos to manage your flock. I have 33 and get 3-6 eggs a day, but not all have started laying yet, 1 is a chick, and 7 are roos. oh yeamake that 34 one just hatched.
