Well, the Girls are here, and I am beyond excited!! I was only supposed to get 6 lovely girls but they shipped 9 to me so I am really happy I built and extra large brooder and a coop that could hold up to 10 ladies! Speaking of brooder you all are the best and gave great advice on my brooder and because of you fine folks I returned the heat lamp and built a DIY Momma Heating Pad and let me tell you the girls have been hanging out under thier "momma" all morning! I am still trying to figure out which breed is what but they are lovely and I have plenty of time to get to know them! I am like a nervous new mom over here checking on them every 2 minutes, taking endless pictures and running to the brooder every time a chick makes a louder than the other chirp! But they seem happy!!!
