they got to scratch around in the dirt, taste some dandelions and I think they even found a worm (couldn't see it for all the chasing around). They looked so grown-up!

They were so funny. With all the extra space (at least compared to their cardboard box) they stayed in a tight little cluster, all pecking at the same spot wherever they went. I guess that's just what chickens do, but it was awfully cute to watch.
