The Girls (I hope) Are Home

Try moving just one of the chicks over with your duckie, Less likely to be bullying going on, and he'll have company.

Is it cold where you are? Its hot here we won't be using heat lamps till maybe December or January..send us some cool weather

I had 1 chick get pasty bottom what I did was cut as much of the fluff as I could around the chicks bottom that way it didnt have much to stick to. It made cleaning easier too. I used pine shavings from day one. Just relax and enjoy them they will bring you many laughs.

Thanks so much everyone. Now I'm dealing with a sick chick.....siiiiigh...I don't think she's going to make it. She won't drink, won't eat and she's fading fast.

Tried some scrambled eggs, yogurt, sugar water.....she just won't take anything. Of course she is the runt of the litter as well, so she has this special place in our hearts. BAH!

Found a guy with some Cayuga ducklings near me. Same age as my poor orphan. Think we'll pick one up for company.
