I would think % protein and how much time they are given to eat each day would be the 2 biggest factors in determining their final size. Can you post pictures of the feed bag? What % protein do you use?

I'm not thrilled with the feed I can get, but can't afford to have a ton shipped in from Virginia. But here's (the PDF) what they'll get cause that's what I can get right now.

This is the feed I prefer to use simply because I know the farmers and their neighbors and know that there isn't any potential for over spray of roundup. And they use Fertrell ingredients as well.

Well the chicks are in the brooder. Lost one of the Ross in shipping, but looks like they added a few extras. Lost count when releasing them. Food, water with electrolyte and vitamin mix, chick grit and a little brewers yeast. Pics to follow when they show up on my computer. Cobb500 are in the right cell and the Ross708 are in the left.
