I will give it a try. I have noticed a major difference in the taste of eggs when i ferment my feed. Alot less waste too

Tell me about the taste. I have fermented feed from day 1 on my birds and they are about 1 mo away from POL. I have 15 white plymouth rock eggs and 15 more of the SBEL's. super blue egg layers from DMRippy. So excited to finally get some eggs. Beekissed said the taste was better, smoother with fermented feed.

Its a pretty big difference in taste and texture. My line of thinking is that the birds digest more of the nutrients from ff. It also makes their poop different and not as stinky. The eggs from dry feed are still waaay better than store bought eggs tho.

Here is pic's of the turkey with red heads and the fish meal.


It shows mostly in their necks but their heads are also red. It will wear off. They are fine and they love their feed.



This meal is in a 5 gal. bucket and this is the cup I use to feed and measure with.

I have a shipment of eggs i am expecting kind of lost in the mail they were coming from CA ended up in FL ( day 4) and I live in IL so you figure they will be six/7 days in transit by monday.. probably a good 10 days old by the time i get them !!!

That happened to me Memorial Day weekend. Not one hatched. so disappointed! Hopefullyyour babies will be ok!

The first time I shipped eggs, I messed up and sent them the slowest way. They were in the mail a week, I think, and Ron still managed to hatch some! Don't give up yet.
