I know of a "COOL" idea for ya. MISTERS for the heat of summer. Because 122* is just really hot for anyone. Even Campines need a break from that kinda heat.

So, what does it take to get the chickens to coop up at night? Any tricks? I had to send my daughter on a belly crawl under the coop to fetch 6 of them tonight. They are almost 5 weeks right now.
Your coop looks great! Did you keep the chickens locked in the coop for a few days before letting them out? If you did and they still aren't going in on their own it may be too dark (in the coop). Also I use golf balls for my nest eggs.![]()
