My grandfather used to have a generic nickname for any squirrel he met: B.T. The nickname stood for Bushy Tail. "Hello there B.T." he would say.

I recently have taken on the care of 10 ducklings. As of today they are 3 weeks old. In the family tradition, my nickname for any of the ducklings is: E.P. The nickname stands for: Extra Poopy. Using "E.P." sounds much more pleasant.

If I was able to make it through the first few years of motherhood, I'm sure I can make it through this.... I love my messy duckies!

WELL - - I may be on the see-saw fence - - I've just noticed that. you can tell female from male at hatching time, a few of the breeds of ducks/geese.
I've always been interested in trying duck/goose eggs.
I like Sebbies alot, also, those huge geese, but, I'd rather go with breeds I can tell female from male at hatching.
I'd better get to looking at housing - can they be housed together?

IF I go with ordering ducks/geese, they won't be treated any differently than my chickens - BREEDERS/FOOD.
