Thank you all for the support… it was very emotional but Tillie is no longer suffering. I was able to hold her as she passed. I sure am going to miss her.
I’m still not 100% certain what was causing her belly to swell so much (and neither was the vet a few weeks ago during our last appointment before it was this bad.). I would have liked to send her for a necropsy but we didn’t have time with this trip planned.
I took some pictures of her belly, near her vent. I speculate cancer. She was a little over 2 years old which, according to what I’ve read, is when cancer tends to strike.
