( I'm just bringing your character's flaws to the forefront and exploring the consequences of certain actions. It's a big part of writing fiction)
 
" I ... misjudged you. I am what I am, this is true. And we dragons are very proud creatures. We often look down on the other races, this is true. But now, we truely face a common enemy. Not as master and minion, but as equals, equally wronged." Slygotha stands up. " I... want you to ( small voice again) ride on my back...." she mutters, almost not able to spit out the words.
 
" now it's not what you think, Eris. I need you to protect my backside with your sword. And from there, you should have a good vantage point to see where you can entangle our enemies, and better control my overgrowth spell."
 
Zahir flicks a speck of dirt from under his nails. " Lovely stories all," He states, obviously bored. " So sad, I just might cry!" He mocks lightly. He tries to sidle up to Lilith. " Hey princess, I can rescue you later on if you want, I'll take good care of you."

Lilith slaps Zahir the Black Fang across the face and storms off, muttering under her breath, her long braid swinging angerly behind her."... never been so insulted in all my life. What a sleazeball..." Lilith goes to sit next to Greymane. Silently, they become awkward and unlikely friends.

Slygotha comes out of her cave. "We need at least one more member, if we wish to survive. We need a cleric. Someone with holy items. A hunter who specializes in the undead. Or perhaps a witch, with powers to heal our injured, for I believe only Eris has the power to heal among us, and our enemies are not only strong, but great healers reside among them. This is our most important recruit." Slygotha snorts she nods her head, then turns back to her cave. " They will eventually come for us, or we will find them. There is no other way..." she retreats back into her cave.
