The Haven

Jess looked at Sam. "Attack if they get too close." She aimed her Yumi and got a good sight on the creatures, ready to shoot at a command from Julie.

Jacob ran as fast as he could back to the group. He tripped on the uneven ground and got a cut up to his knee from a sharp rock. "Crap," he muttered, getting up and trying to ignore the pain as he got back to the group.

"Shoot when ready, don't let them get close. We can't risk it. They might have deadly venom because of their mutation." Julie yelled, widening her stance and getting ready for an attack.

Julie took out one of her daggers, aimed, and threw it at one creature, dropping it to the ground, instantly dead. She ran over and removed her dagger before returning to the group. Her eyes turned from pale silver to pitch black, narrowed as she threw another dagger at a creature, making her look even scarier than she already was. (Lol.)

Finally, the last creature was killed, dying with a ear-splitting shriek. Julie retrieved her daggers, wiping all the blood off of the blades, then slipping them back in their sheaths. "Regroup! Injury report!" Julie said, looking around.

Jess glanced around at the others. Her eyes fell on Jacob, who had a large gash on his leg, which was bleeding profusely. "Um, Jake's hurt."
Julie nodded. "We'll rip some cloth up, and find water. We'll have to clean the wounds and bind them up and check on them constantly, so they won't get infected." She said, looking around the group ad surveyed the injuries. "Be cautious of radiation. That could be one of the biggest threats out here, cause we can't fight radiation. Though, I have a feeling that those creatures aren't the only things out there that want to eat us or kill us." She said as she scanned the area. "We'll set up camp somewhere close. Scouts, who aren't badly injured, please spread out and search the area for a good camping place. One that we won't have our backs uncovered. I'll explain everything else once camp is set up and while we help the injured. We can't have anyone else injured, or we most likely won't make it out of here alive. So, let's try to keep infection off our list of things." She said, feeling the sting of her own wound. She had a gash on her thigh, running down her leg. She could feel the sticky blood running down her leg. She'd have to take care of that once they set up camp.
