"Yes." He said, his voice wasn't blunt or annoyed this time, a little softer and more sincere, he loved the outdoor simulation center. It was by far his favorite place because it was so... alive. He liked the slight breeze, and though he knew it was artificial, enjoyed it as if it were the real thing. "What about you?"

"Same here. It seems to be the one place that doesn't feel so..." she paused for a moment, searching for the right word. "Synthetic." she sighed. "I bet you have no idea what I mean by that, do you?" Nobody ever does.

Carson, with his baldric around his shoulder and scabbard, holding his sword, felt a familiar soft pat on his head. As he opened his weary eyes he saw the face of his white cat, and it's beautiful bright blue eyes that shined, due to the lights behind him. "What now?" He asked after he yawned, stretched his arms high into the air and stretching his shoulders back.

Jeremy (Carson's cat) jumped off the table and stretched. He meowed constantly and plumped it's body next to his empty, metal food bowl, licked clean from yesterdays servings. "Alright, alright." Carson said after shifting the smooth covers of his bed to one side, allowing him to escape his heavy, warm sheets.

An hour later, they both headed to the outdoor simulator. Carson wanted to be ready.... or even more than ready. He entered the large place as Jeremy scampered behind.
