The Haven

Allen frowned, concentrating on his doodle. "If i didn't care, then why have i thought about it? Normally, if i don't care about something, i give it little or no thought whatsoever." He said trying to explain his logic. "Or... were you talking about something else?"

Jess sighed. "I'm talking about something else. But, it doesn't matter." She was getting uncomfortable with their current conversation, and it was starting to feel like a minefield. She walked over to where Allen was, and crouched next to him. "So, whatcha drawing?"

Allen's eyes widened slightly as he looked at his aimless doodles. "Ahhh just doodling." He said as he swiped his hand across the dirt where his picture had been. It was almost and exact replica of the tree he had been staring at right in front of him. He drew a smiley face in the dirt and looked up at Jess. "See?" (btw, Allen has a photographic memory, that's how he drew it.)

(Photographic memory is just what it sounds like. Once you look at something, every detail in practically burnt into his/her memory. So yes, if you have a photographic memory, you could probably sketch every detail. Every person I read about that has a photographic memory is an incredible artist.)

((Sowwy I forgot... ~_~))

Jess smiled slightly. It seemed that their conversation was getting a little less depressing. That was good. Depressing made her feel sad. And people like Jessamine don't like sad. She sat down next to Allen and sighed happily. She loved the scent of the pine needles, the sound of the birds chirping, the occasional rustling of a small creature. She stared off into the distance, her mind flitting like a butterfly from one thought to the next.
