The Haven

(Haha butterfly... :3)
Allen sighed and tapped the ground with the stick he was holding thoughtfully. Zero gave up trying to catch his attention and decided to just drop the tennis ball at Allen's feet so he would throw it for her again. Allen complied and glanced at Jess. She looked lost in thought so Allen mentally shrugged and began to doodle in the ground again, this time making sure that the lines were aimless without any shape whatsoever. He was growing bored and new he should probably head for the library soon, but he knew Zero would want to fetch a little longer. He shifted his position and, as Zero returned with the tennis ball, threw the ball again for her.

((You know exactly what I was thinking :3))

Jess sat and watched as Allen and Zero played fetch for a little while longer. She could tell he was getting restless and wanted to do something else. She turned to him, "Well, it was nice meeting you. Maybe we can talk again sometime?"

Allen wasn't sure if he'd run into her again. He didn't know so he said, not wanting to be rude, "sure maybe." He stood up and brushed off the dust on his jeans and with a quick command to Zero, she followed him out of the outdoor simulation center. He half thought about heading towards the office to get a mission but he discarded the idea. They were extremely dangerous, most people didn't come back alive, let alone complete the mission. He angled his way towards the library. Most people in the Haven thought reading was a complete waste of time.

(That means your character shouldn't like reading very much.... especially some of the hard-core girls.... you know who i'm talking about.)

((Ya, she doesn't like reading. She thinks it's a waste of time, as you said. But she's not one of those hard core girls xD))

Jess stood as Allen left, silently running into the thick wall of trees. She liked being alone, with the animals and the trees as company. It made her feel at peace or something.

Radar landed on Jessamine's shoulder. He swallowed a vole whole, the noise amplified by him doing it right in her ear. If it had been in anybody else's ear, they probably would've recoiled at the revolting sound, but Jess had grown up with Radar, and it had become a sound she was used to. Radar hooted happily, and followed her as she weaved through the maze of trees. She steeped confidently, knowing exactly where she was going. The countless times she had traveled this path made sure of that, as the path was etched into her memory. She came to a small clearing, with stream running through it. She lay down on the grass next to the stream, looking up at the fake sky above her. The light fell on her face and she closed her eyes, the stream bubbling next to her.

Allen silently slipped into the library. It was empty, as usual. Zero followed him. His breathing magnified by the total lack of sound. He sighed and it echoed like tons of little voices marveling at the sound. He was always amazed that Zero made no noise what so ever. His own feet, though he tried not to make any noise, made quiet shuffles. He walked through the rows of book until he saw one that caught his attention, "Ender's Game" By Orson Scott Card. He picked it p and walked over to a low couch and began to read.

(hehe love tat book.)

((Oh. I thought the library was for educational books :/ ))

Julie, after a 2 hour throwing practice, slipped silently out of the practice room and walked down the hall, her snake, Isis, curled around her waist like a belt, one of her favorite ways to be carried. She walked with a grim, yet, blank expression. She walked back to her room and slipped inside, making virtually no sound accept the soft click when she shut the door. She sat down at her desk and opened her laptop (if that's ok) and started to practice her hacking skills.
