The Heat!

This heat is bad enough for us, but what about the chickens? they're only 7.5 weeks old and don't have full combs. I put the tractor in the shade, give them ice water and some cold treats like grapes. Am i forgetting something?

Vitamens and electrolytes you can also partially fill milk jugs and freeze them. (careful not to over fill as you might have a mess in the freezer the next morning.) place them randomly through out the coop at the heat of the day. Frozen corn cobs are a life saver also. other then that sounds like your on the right track.
