Years ago I bought 3 dozen eggs from someone that told me he had nice "Heritage" Rhode Island Reds so I took a chance. I put them in the incubator and they hatched and all turned out light in color so I suspected they were more of a production Rhode Island Red. I eventually sold them. Buyer beware...

While I’m here right now I wantedto show my hatchery rir Iknow this thread isn’t for them but I am just amazed at how good she looks for a hatchery bird. In my opinion this is about the best you could get for hatchery birds

It the sun hitting one of his feathers I see what your saying but no he doesn’t have a side sprig
