I have three Rhode Island red and one Rhode Island White.
 
These are my Favorite breed of chicken. They have all the traits that I want in a dual purpose bird.

love this thread, so much info and diagrams and pics, I use it on other breeds threads as reference. sorry for the bad pics. will get ya more if ya like.

mr. robert, mr. chris, nyreds, et., all please critically critique the roos...they are hatchery- ~2 generations removed, the roos are father and son. got them off crgslist for $5/bird they threw in the 10 eggs the hens were setting on and all 10 eggs hatched.

Great pics beutiful birds im new but ididnt know that they were that deep mahgony red there are beutiful live as on photos ,

Can someone hook me up with anyone with a very good line of heritage rir's. I can travel several hundreds of miles for a very good proven line.
