What a fun day at the Knoxville Nationals.

Met both Steven Gribble and Matt Urich. Great guys and extremely genuine. I just gotta say, I hope Steven didn't think I was gonna steal that K we made such a fuss over with Walt Leonard and Rip Stalvey, but honestly, Steven, I really, really like that young male. Kudos on breeding him. It was a joy just to get him out of the coop and feel him up good. I'll get a photo of him tomorrow, if Steven doesn't mind.

Wow! Educational day at the APA Nationals.
LF SC RIR was Steven Gribble's cockerel.
LF RC was one of my pullets.

And huge congrats to @sgribble
What a beautiful SC cockerel he has. He went to on win Champion American. Congrats Steven!

As a side note, Steven also took BOB in both of his other breeds. Very good weekend. I'm so tickled for him. Will post awards pics tomorrow
 
Congratulations Sheri on your pullets win. I'm very jealous. You won at your first show. It took me several shows. I have gotten BB, BV, RB and RV at previous shows but my 1st Champion American was recently at the fall show at Inverness, FL. where I got one for a SC RIR cockerel and another for a SC RIR pullet. My RC RIR pullet got BB and BV. Did Matt show any birds?
