The Heritage Rhode Island Red Site

These are just barnard, farm birds.  nothing wrong with that, it's just that they are not Rhode Island Reds nor of the quality that this thread focuses on.  If you want true bred Rhode Island Reds, you have to get them from a fancier, a person who breeds them correctly.  Lots of folks on this thread got their start from someone else here.  Maybe you can get a start with real Reds from someone this coming year.
Best wishes.

Thanks for the comment CMOM

Fred, he is very stout and the color in his tail is outstanding.  I have 14 of these, 8 pullets and 6 cockerels. 2 are definite culls but the other 12 are going to really be hard to say no to. I see something in each of them that I really like. lol   First time this has happened with me.  Of course there are only 4 or 5 that are screaming, "Work with me."  Thanks for the comments and I will post a few pictures a little later down the road.  I have more pictures of them on my site if you want to see them.
Oh, I did like the pictures you posted a few posts back also.

Matt, Are you going to the Inverness show? I don't have any males to take. I started hatching late this year. I have some potential females.
