Hens look real good. I am glad you are happy with them. I have a young rooster in my breeding pen with the best keel bone I have raised. I wish he had a bit longer back, but he is pretty awesome. His comb got a bit nipped this winter, but aside from that wish I could get him shown.

Got another hatch coming off in a few days. Sending some away and hope to hatch a few for myself. Going to set one more batch and then done for this year. Feeding these young birds out is not for the faint of heart with feed prices as they are. I wish I could tell which male is gonna be a "good un" before all the feed.

I have been feeding some spent grain from a micro brewery in town and puts a shine on these guys like I have never had before

Very Nice!

I have eggs hatching this morning from Ron Fogel. Five were out this morning with more pips. I should have at least 8 out of 11 that were fertile.

I will post pictures tonight along with a hatch update.

I got eggs from Ron Fogle yesterday. Thanks so very much, Ron. Letting them sit and chill and hopefully, the air cells will mostly re-attach. Risky this shipping business, but well worth it, even if hatch rate is 50%. Ron's a good egg packer too.

Of course, now I owe him some ringlet eggs. Got ya covered. When the time is right.

My Fogle eggs shipped all the way from Arkansas to Whidbey Island, Washington. I didn't even let them sit out. I kept them upright and put them straight from the box into the bator. I just did the fourteen day candle today. Fourteen live embryos are developing. Two of them with saddle air cells! I'm thrilled with these eggs.
