i'll take a few pics of my coop set up today

right now i have 2 rooster pens and they stay in them and 2 runs, a brooding pen, a guinea pen, a large chicken pen and a soon to be turkey pen

then theres a run connected to the 2 rooster runs so i can let one out to mate with the hens, and i know what hens lay what colored eggs so i can pick them up and stick them else where or under my broody.

what do you think about this guy, he is 6-8 months old. a friend of ours had him, knew we had 3 production red hens and wondered if we wanted him.

He is large and handsome, but is he a brick? we will probably keep him with the red ladies for awhile.

Thanks! I would like to see the setup!

He's a production type Red. Much too short in the back & colour is too light to be what they're calling a "Heritage" Red.

sorry i've ended up being a little busy lately

i'll try to get them up tomorrow night or the next day, been all shorts of commotion here lately, got coyote sightings and guineas freaking out and trying to do work on the farm and sitting fruit trees in the ground (planted 18 in the last few days) and tons of other chores/work
