The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Pell nodded slowly for the most part understanding what she was trying to say. "Tech. Like, teakbrim. Like, things that make stuff easier right. Wheels, gears, stuff like that. We have teakbrim, but not like your camera." She said curiously poking at the screen. Pell rocked back on to her heels, redirecting her attention back to Lilith.

"You said you came here because there were people missing. I haven't seen anyone come out of the forest besides you. Do you really think that people are being taken by monsters? Mam won't tell me if it's really happening or not. I don't know if she just doesn't want to scare me, but I'm old enough to know. I want to know what's really going on."
Lilith was unsure what to say, biting her lip. "To be honest... I don't know what I think. But maybe. Ya'know, before this, I never believed in stuff like that. Monsters, demons, mythical creatures, that whole lot just seems stupid. But, I did just get attacked by a manticore..." She sighed, studying the girl. "People are going missing, and we were being stalked by something big-- I could tell it was intelligent and malicious, and I think it wanted us alone. It seemed to get closer the less of us there were. There's either a person, or some... Creature, taking them. I'm not sure which yet, but I'm planning on finding out who."
Aria nodded casting a curious sideways glance at him “are you okay?” She asked pausing
“What am I saying? Of coarse your not! Your brothers missing” she went to continue before flinging a hand over her mouth, she was being very insensitive. She hung her head shaking it, what kind of idiot said stuff like that to someone who just had just been told their little brother had most likely been eaten. She sighed “sorry Kylan.” She wouldn’t say more, she couldn’t say anything else. There wasn’t exactly much else to say.
Aria consulted her shoes for wisdom, she didn’t know where else to look. She felt a familiar pang of empathy towards Kylan. If Aria looked at Kylan she knew she’d blush like crazy and if she looked at anyone else she would feel embarrassed, so naturally the shoes are the best place to look
Kylan sighed, looking over at her. He flinched a little at the mention of Torin's predicament, but his eyes were soft. "I'm fine, I'm just worried that... That Torin's not." He murmured, noticing her embarrassed and shameful expression. "It's okay, I just can't get that little guy's words outta my head. Guess it's bugging me more than I should let it." He murmured, feeling another shot of warmth for her spring through his chest.

Eve followed to the well. Why’d it bring me to a well? She wondered
The dragon dipped its feathered body in the water and cupped its avian wings, beating the water toward her, splashing the girl’s face and down her neck. It snickered and fluttered back up into the air, safely out of reach.

Aria looked up meeting his eyes “no. I would be just as mad if I had any siblings that were missing. I reckon we will find Torrin and get the heck out of this place. Don’t listen to Kyle, I mean he did get us almost killed by those gigantic oversized wolves didn’t he?” Aria tried to crack a grin but the sick feeling in her stomach wasn’t fading.

Eve jogged after it eager to see where it was taking her.
The dragon weaved between thick grey trucks, letting out chirps of excitement, purple eyes winking deviously. A blue-spotted glider winked at them with two black eyes, chirping in alarm.
The lovely flame-toned dragon slithered into the glider’s nest of leaves before flying away and disappearing into the forest.
The glider chirped in alarm and another emerged from the nest, beginning to pelt Aria with a seemingly endless supply of nuts.
Nut after nut appeared in its tiny hands.

Eve flinched as the nuts smashed her head. She put her arms up to protect her head
