The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Clary shrugged. “I’ve been bored out of my mind waiting for college to start. What about you? You look... good. Happier.” She said, looking him up and down.
Kipp smiled, rubbing a hand through his hair and awkwardly throwing the twig away that he hadn't realized had been stuck there this whole time. "Yeah, things are better now. I didn't realize you were old enough to go to college already." He glanced apprehensively over at Cam, he was making small talk while there were kids lost in a dangerous place. "We should all help look for the kids, before something bad happens."

Hana didn’t write down a response, instead she looked towards the people who ran off, in search of the kids.

Take rolled his shoulders, giving her an intimidating stare, “Lay off, Scarface, I don’t even know you” he growled, starting away from the tree towards Blair.
"So original!" Aella called after him, catching a flittering leaf. She was starting to get a headache from being upside down, but she didn't move. "I'll be here if you need me, pretty boy!"
Blair had heard Take approaching behind her, from her anxious position above salamander Haddie. She recognized the way he stepped even through the noise of the crowd, and turned to see him, only then did she realize that the gingers call of 'pretty boy's was directed at Take.
She instantly unlaced her fingers from Kit's scruff, turning on heel and approaching Take, narrowed gaze pinned on the scarred ginger in the trees. "Hands off, lady. He's mine." She spat, selfish anger boiling in her veins.
But Aella responded not in fear, but with a cackle, lashes fluttering innocently. "But I wasn't even touching him."

Eve’s odd violet eyes flickered over Hana’s masked face.

Take completely ignored the girls words, giving his full attention towards Blair. He took both of her hands in his to pull her out of her defensive girlfriend mode. “Blair, we need to find your niece, what does she look like?” he asked.

Ellie flung her arms around Cam tightly. “I’ve missed you so much!”
Cam had no idea what intelligible reply was adequate in that situation, so she released a porcine squeal, squeezing tightly before jumping away.
”So what happened in your life while I was gone?”
Ellie, right. Don't forget her name. Ellie. Kipp pursed his lips realizing Cam likely wasn't going to answer his question now that she had some one else to talk to. Hopefully there's not a grizzly bear stealing people. He thought as he turned away to get his small med kit for Kyle.

"Here." He said picking it up of the ground where it had been left next to Haddie. Who had disappeared. "It's not much, but better than nothing."
”Thank you,” Kyle said, using his limited supplies to patch up the salamanders’ chest to the best of his ability. Which were actually quite good.
”I really wish I had some sutures,” he muttered, echoing his regrets from the last time he had to patch up an impromptu injury. ”I really should keep them on me.”
Kylan's head snapped up, suddenly nodding at Colby, having heard why he was going. "My brother is one of the kids missing, so yes, I'm ready to get out of here and run." Maybe it'll help me think. He gave a cheesy grin, trying to show that he had no ill intentions.

Nat gave the taller boy a long look. That smile was beyond cringey...but, then again, it almost made him comfortably genuine. "Think I missed you in my thorough rounds of making acquaintances. So, yo, I'm Nat."
Colby was already jogging. He jumped a group of thorny bushes in a series of bounds that made the atmosphere seem to be missing a good majority of its usual gravity. "Alright, so what's he look like? Name?"

"Uh..." Kylan only spared him a half second's glance. "That's... Just you. My brother is great."

Kylan nodded, stilling smiling. "Well, 'sup Nat, I'm Kylan Archer." He said quickly, jogging after Colby but opting to veer around the suspicious looking bushes. Who knows, they might be poisonous and kill me if I get scratched by one. "He's five, looks like me but with curly hair, kinda got a Irish accent. I think he was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans. His name's Torin."
He barely heard Lilith give an angry "Kylan!" as they jogged off.
Hearing the commencement of the search for missing children, Cam turned away from Ellie, but not without a quick salute. ”To be continued,” she said, following Kylan, Nat, and Colby into the woods.
”I’m supposed to find somebody too,” she explained.
~
”Wait! Guys!” Kyle waved his hand as half a dozen teens went skipping into the forest. ”You can’t go galavanting off like that! We need to stay together!”
His voice barely carried to the first tree.
Kyle sighed and scrambled over to Rylie, glad speed was on his side.
Before Kyle could even properly settle behind his hackles, Rylie was bounding after them, sensing Kyle's urgency.
Rylie skidded to a stop in front of the capering orange-furred fox.
”You need to slow down. You will get eaten,” Kyle enuciated.

“Not much. Aside from mum finally treating me as part of the family again. I demanded her tell me why she had shut me out, she said I looked too much like my dad that she couldn’t deal with it” Ellie shrugged.

Ellie saluted her back, watching as she bounced off

Wow, that's an understatement, Can thought. Then again, Ellie did have a tendency to overshare things. Maybe it was the upbringing.
After that thought had cycled around her mind a couple of times, she actually started paying attention to where she was going, curiously peering at Colby, or rather, the small, furry roadblock that stood before him.

"What are we even waiting for?" Kylan asked, looking down at the tiny man. "I mean, we sure ain't doin' anything at that platform. We're just as liable to die there as here, the only difference is we're actually doing something-- And working to save some kids." He argued calmly, not exactly sure why he was even bothering.

Lilith slinked up to his side, brow twitching from time to time due to an itch that she was unable to scratch because of the slightly annoying fact that both her hands were full. "Kylan and Fox-boy are right. We should be doing something, and look for those kids seems the right thing."

(I should add ‘if you ask Ellie something she will share her life story with you’ to her character profile
