The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

She could hear voices now. Definitely Blair and Take’s. She hesitated, not knowing how to approach them. She didn’t want to startle them because it might alert the guards. Well how else are you going to do this? So she stepped out from where she was and said, “What’d I miss?”
Blair scented someone else before she saw her, and within a matter of seconds, she had wrenched her hand out of Take's, and slammed the girl against the wall. She moved at a supernatural speed, that if you blinked you would miss her, and even then it was hard to see her coming. One hand held her shoulder against the wall, the other around the girls throat, trembling as she resisted the urge to squeeze tighter. "Who the hell are you?" She growled, her eyes burning golden. The girl seemed unassuming, but the most unassuming could be the most dangerous.

“My name is Ashira,” she explained, strangely calm. She had known this was coming. “I’m not your enemy. I rescued Take from being tortured and helped some others from your group.”

Blair's attention was solely focused on the fact that she caught Kipp and Emma's scent, though it was buried beneath other, mostly unknown, scents. Human, but foreign to her. When Take asked where Kit was, she realized her canine companion was missing. "I don't know," she answered quietly, her gaze flickering between him and the shadows behind the corner. "I just hope she made it back to the group." Kit was smart, smarter then most dogs, mostly due to her being able to understand Blair, and she hoped Kit used then intelligence to understand she needed to get back to the group.
Her hand tightened around his when the anxiety crept in, that Kit wouldn't go back, that something might happen to her. "She'll be fine. She's smart." And with that, she pulled him around her corner, clearly on high alert.
She’s still a dog.. anything can happen on her way back to Kyle and the others.Take thought to himself, but tried to stay hopeful for Kits safety. He gave an agreeing murmur, feeling her grasp tighten.

Take heard the sound of Ashira’s voice but was unable to give her a proper response as Blair suddenly restrained the girl against the wall. His eyes widening, “Hey!” he said in a sharp whisper at Blair, “Let the girl go. She was with Kipp and the kids.” he tried explaining, resting a hand on her shoulder.
Though he frowned at Ashira, “Why are you back here? Did something happen?”

Blair didn't take her eyes off the girl, her hand closing just a little tighter. There was the urge to keep going, but suddenly she realized what she was doing and backed away, releasing her. Her eyes were widened, the glow flickering back to yellow as she shrugged Take's hand away.
"Where's Emma and Kipp?" It was all she could bring herself to say. No thank you for helping them, or apology for trying to kill her.

“They’re safe for now,” she explained. “I didn’t leave them with no supplies. Kipp gave me this. Look.” To prove what she was saying was true, Ashira carefully pulled out the little piece of marble. “I’m not your enemy,” she repeated.

Take scoffed, “That was my choice, the least you could do was respect that. I’m fully capable of handling things on my own. I don’t need help from nobody.” he spat harshly. Me being trapped and tortured was all part of my second plan.. and I endured it all.
He gave Ashira a long glare before his eyes fell on the little glassy marble, remembering that Kipp had a similar one. He didn’t acknowledge it, “Okay but where exactly are they? Sitting outside? Sucking on their thumbs? At the bottom of the mountain? In a cave? Near a lake?” he pestered, hearing the shifting of gravel underneath someone’s feet, as if they just stopped in their tracks. Take glanced down the hall, seeing a guard completely frozen holding a sword. He could see it in the young guards face from afar that he was stricken with fear. Take cursed under his breath as the guard slowly pivoted and bolted off to alert the others of the renowned pink haired man.

~Dream~
Kipp woke up in his rock wall cubby, rolling off the edge to his feet and vaguely aware of walking to food. He sat at the wooden table, the roughed up splinters he'd seen on previous days being highly in focus, while the faces of his companions were grayed out and blurry mostly it was their presence he was aware of. All of them eating their food in mechanical silence. Then it was up and off to work, the cave melting away and becoming an elaborate building, far too large to hold up it's own weight considering the gaping holes in the roof that allowed the snow in. The white crunchy snow covered the entirety of the floor, despite the giant furnaces housed in the walls of the building that should have melted it. A girl, who he knew was supposed to be Ashira, but wasn't, smiled at him. He followed her through the large building climbing stairs behind her. He knew he recognized her, but she looked wrong. Even though he knew she was supposed to be Ashira she wasn't. At the top of the steps she turned and waved at him. Jumping down and disappearing into a gaping chasm.

Kipp ran up the last few steps hurling himself over the edge, diving down after her, frantic to keep her from falling. But she was gone, and now he was falling, down and down wingless and falling endlessly into the dark.

~~

Kipp shivered as he slept, slipping from his tree trunk support, to lay on his side. His near featherless wing draped over his bare arm, in an automatic response to his shivering.

"I know that, kid, alright? You aren't my enemy. Doesn't mean I trust you. Where is Emma?" Blair's gaze suddenly snapped towards the side, catching sight of the young guard, the scent of fear suffocating. Her eyes flashed golden, taking and step forward, before she pulled herself back. "Damn it. We have to go before we get caught."

Fred gazed around his eyes fixing on the door at the top of the hill. His breathing quickened. The door was shaking like someone was bout to open it. “Emma, Noah. Get out of sight. I will meet you down there but hurry” he nudged them down the hill. “Kipp, Kipp we have to go. We have to. WAKE UP” he was trying to whisper-shout but if wasn’t working. So Fred grabbed Kipps hand and pulled him down the hill. “Ok. Now everyone stay out of sight” Fred murmured as guards burst from the door.
