The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Seina nodded, thinking he meant it had come to him. Then turned her gaze out over the open field, worry lining her face. No doubt they would be sending out we-sa after them soon. And while the rocks they were hiding under now would hide them from the sky, the longer they waited the more likely it was that they would be found. Especially this close to the Dakrium. She noticed Torin still looking at her, and quickly put a smile back on her face. Resuming the flitting about of the small red bug creature she'd created.

"We have to keep going." She said quietly, she was tired, and the rain was starting to come down heavier now, but they couldn't stay here any longer. Seina climbed to her feet ducking under the low over hanging rocks. "We can't wait for them forever."

-----
Chion jumped up awkwardly onto her four feet, unused to legs and arms that were the same length, and nudged Torin and Alex with her nose. Doing a strange head bob to try to communicate that it was time to go. She didn't like that they were leaving without Fred, but she knew the other girl was right. They had to keep going or risk getting caught.
-----

"Come on, I'll carry you." Seina said holding her arms out to Elon. She gave the lumbering creature a small frown of curiosity, when it hopped up and tried to get the other two kids on its back. Either it could understand what she was saying or it was trained very well.

Blair wasn't paying attention to Take, she was paying attention to the water soaking her leggings and sneakers, cursing harshly at the rain under her breath. She paused suddenly, mud seeping through her leggings as she stayed in place. She heard voices, yelling and shouting in a strange language. "They came back." She hissed sharply, pulling herself along faster until she reached the other side, painfully scraping her back against the stone as she got to her feet outside the tunnel, rain pounding down on them. If it rains too much...I'll lose Kipp and Emma's scent. Then what?
The wind was starting to pick up as well, forcing the rain to become more harsh and heavy against their exposed skin. Take pulled over his hoodie just enough to cover his head, but not blocking the vision in his third eye. He tightened the drawstring to hold it in place from the wind and gazed down the steep slope of the mountain. From the accumulation of rain, there was bound to be a mud slide, so there was no way they could scale down safely. He searched for an area that was flat enough to hold them both, but it was a steep plummet from where they were. He faced Blair, a crash of neon blue lightening appearing in the distance, illiuminating the darkened sky for a moment as the rain and wind bashed them. “You need to hold onto me, I have to get us down from here!” he yelled, squinting his eyes to see her. He extended his dripping arms out to her, the only type of cleansing his skin received since he got to Borealis as the water loosened the mud on his hands.

Elon climbed into her arms.
Fred looked up as the guards ventured further down the hill towards their hiding place. He grabbed Kipp and Noah by the hand and tugged then further into the bushes out of sight. Chion, guys. Where are you? He thought desperately
Ah! It’s raining! How could I fall asleep when it’s raining?
Noah looked up grumpily from his bush, but began to relax as the the droplets washed away the dirt and grime on his face. It was nice. Fresh. Clean. Never had that felt so good.

Fred raised a finger to his lips indicating for him not to make a sound

Fred pointed at the guards who were now looking at the bushes. Slowly they prowled closer
“I swear I just heard a noise” the guards eyes raked the bushes. Fred held his breath hardly daring to breathe
Noah ducked silently into the bush and collapsed into himself, his dark form nearly invisible in the fading light.

Seina waited for the other two kids to climb on their mount and then dashed out into the rain. The rain and wind whipping her long black hair around and gluing it to her face. There was no way they were going to stay dry with how far they needed to go. And most likely the shirt full of bread would be a soggy mess before too long. But there were other concerns for moving quickly. The sky was now too dark to see the sky, and she had no idea if a we-sa could be following. Seina moved between piles of rocks taking brief pauses out of the rain to catch her breath before jumping out to race to the next hiding spot. Each time feeling like she was about to be grabbed from behind and swooped up into the sky.

The air grew thick and heavy pressing in on them until it was almost too hard to breathe. Followed by a loud crack of lightning that set a near by tree ablaze. The roaring thunder seemed like it was shaking the ground beneath their feet.
