The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Aria turned giving him a smile, “hey Kevin.”
Phew, she didn’t smite me, Cam thought. But she felt sorry for the girl, who seemed uncomfortable under all the stares. Imagine how insecure you’d be, having a power like that. I got pretty lucky.

“DON’T TOUCH IT!” Cam screamed. “Rings found in caves... bad. You probably just lengthened our journey tenfold. Throw it out!”

Kevin was just about to respond to Aria when Cam screeched at him. He frowned at the short girl, she seemed to be scared of the treasure. Or at least just the ring. “No, I’m not throwing it out. It’s not cursed.” Kevin said, touching the ring. Sure, he believed in curses and a lot of superstitions, but a ring that was made with such love and care was only bound to bring them good luck.

Ellie jumped at Cam’s sudden outburst, whipping around in time to see Kevin with a ring. Her hand flew to her mouth muffling her cry of horror.

(Sorry I couldn’t resist I’m reading LOTR right now.)
“I’m sure I’m just... suspicious over nothing,” Cam said, not sure how to properly explain her feelings.
Korim paused and stared at something shimmering and bouncing the beams of electricity. “What’s this?” he asked. He had grabbed the intricately carved silver handle of a hand mirror, which looked quite ancient but in perfect condition. The mirror reflected his round face but seemed to have extra dimensions. It sparkled in the spastic light zapping out of Kylan’s hands. It seemed depthless, like a bottomless pit. His grin turned almost thoughful.

(I know you said no reason is needed, but since I couldn't sleep last night a reason I have. Wheee! The caves are connected by teleporting stones that exist in nature here!)

Chion frowned out in to the darkness, she really had no idea what Fred had seen that had made him yell. She shook her head, scattering the droplets of rain that had fallen on her head, before turning back into the cave. Noah, was awake now and talking to Fred about something. Neither of them seemed worried, so it mush have been nothing.

She made her way back to where she had been sleeping before. Settling herself back into a semi-comfortable position. She was going to try to sleep again, but a faint blue glow she hadn't noticed before caught her attention.

She would have just dismissed it as her exhausted senses playing tricks on her. But a loud crack as bright blue jagged glowing lines etched their way around the walls of the cave startled her to her feet.

“What’s that?” Noah asked, jumping back and cowering. He was more timid since the last time he entered a big scary portal. Last time he did that he showed up in... this place. “A portal!” He said, standing up and capering. “We can go home!”

Fred caught him by the arm, “I think we should investigate further before we jump to any conclusions. That portal could take us straight back up to the prison”

As the rest of the group left to venture deeper in the cave, Hana took the solitary to remove her half mask. She changed her sitting position with her back facing the depth of the cave to avoid the others from immediately noticing her unconcealed face. She rested the kitsune mask in her lap, tracing its smooth edges carefully with her fingers. The warm air of the cave felt nice against her exposed face. She enjoyed the little moments where she could free herself from her disguise, even if it would be short-lived with the others still around. If my life had been different... I wouldn’t have to be hiding my face from the world. But unfortunately that’s how everything was laid out. It was evitable. Hana preparedly held onto the straps of her mask, ready for tie it back on before anyone came close enough to catch sight of her unpleasant appearance.

Ellie glanced nervously at the treasure, how can we trust this treasure? She thought anxiously
Carson had watched Ellie disappear deeper into the cave with the others but had stayed behind to make sure Buck would be able to do simple things like standing, walking, and running before following after her. When he had finally finished stumbling around in the dark, he sucked in a breath of astonishment. That was a lot of gold. He could probably make Buck the nicest enclosure he could possibly imagine with that kind of money. He shook his head, snapping out of it. Of course, he wouldn't be able to take the treasure. It would only slow them down. Yeah, it would be nice to finally get Buck's thing done, but at what cost? They could lose their lives here if they weren't careful and were traveling too slow. No, it wasn't worth the risk. He stepped forward so he was standing next to Ellie, Buck at his heels. "That a lot of gold." He murmured

“Tell me about it.” Ellie replied
