The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Korim’s jaw unhinged in a horrible scream as half a dozen kids popped through his mirror and onto the gold at his feet. His brain was no longer in control of his arms, and they held the mirror handle steadily in the air to let his passengers through while the rest of him was in total panic mode.
Kyle smiled grimly at his sudden terror. “Honestly should expect these sorts of things by now,” he said. “Take! Fred! How did you get here?”
Cam stomped over to Noah, who had fallen on the gold with a thud and was staring around widely. Anger burned in her cheeks. Her next words rose hot and loud, a demand.
“Noah! Why did...”
“Cam!” Noah said, hugging her legs and shoving his face into the stained fabric of the dress. Tears rolled down his rain-washed cheeks. An adult... no a teenager, they were kids who had learned how to be adults and had his fullest respect. A teenager he finally recognized. In this horrible place. She’d know how to get home.
“You leave me like that?” Cam asked, her voice barely a whisper, looking down at the boy, forlorn, bloody, hungry. A boy who’d been in the same places as she was. A boy who was equally lucky to be alive. Cam choked down her anger just as guilt took its place in her throat. I’ve been so selfish. He’s just a little boy. These other people, they didn’t ever give up on trying to find their siblings.
“Noah,” she whispered, crouching beside him, giving him a shoulder to cry on. “I’m here... I’m here... we’ll get you home...” Or at least... I’ll try...

Carson took a step back in surprise as a bunch of kids suddenly appeared. Buck immediately went into defense, his neck hair raising and a low growl coming from his throat. Carson quickly soothed him once he realized that they were the ones who got captured and that they were no threat. Where did they come from? He wondered, studying them and taking in their bedraggled state, and then revising his question, What happened to them? They're only children!

Siena, carried Elon (Is that his name right?) through the portal, and Grafe carried Alex.

Kipp pulled himself too his feet looking around to see who else hadn't gone through yet.

( @ladybugchickenfarms ) Ashira was still mostly asleep despite the noise. Blair, and Emma, and a small half deer girl, who until just now he didn't even realize existed.

"Ashira, Blair come on, let's go." He said bending down to pick up the tiny sleeping girl.

Take pocketed a handful of coins and gems before heading over to Kyle and the others, picking up on his familiar squeaky voice that he couldn’t mistake for anyone else’s. “Ahoy, Me Hearties!” He shouted in a rough voice, trying to impersonate a pirate as he held up a coin to his right eye. Though the ‘eyepatch’ look wasn’t effective as he still had two other eyes uncovered. He could pass for a stowaway instead of a pirate for how primitive and scruffy his appearance was, especially that he didn’t have a shirt on and his pants were muddied. He cracked a grin, “I, Captain Hayes, rescued the missing lads and lassies from the horrible child labor place.” he took a look around at those who were still in Kyle’s group, identifying the people that were missing. He cut out his act to question the group, “So what are you guys doing holed up in this treasure-filled cave? Where are the other noobs at? Did they chicken out or something?”

Fred rolled off the pile of gold, “ouch” he mumbled. Fred was quite sure one of those Gold pieces had caused an indent in his back. “Kyle? Is that you?” He asked squinting at him, “where are my glasses?”

“You? You rescued the kids? Sorry but where were you when we were stuck in a jail cell? Where were you when we were almost struck by lightning? Where were you when I was trying to bust myself, Chion, Torin, Noah and Emma our a jail cell? Where were you when me and the kids where trying to find some form of communication with Chion? How dare you take credit for everything me, Kipp, Chion and the rest of the kids accomplished! And what’s worse you flung me through a portal! A portal which you had no idea where it was going.” Fred’s cheeks were red as he shouted these words

(Sorry, I haven’t been getting alerts. What’d I miss?)
“Huh?” She blinked sleepily, not fully registering where she was at first.

Take frowned at Fred, “Yo don’t get your panties in a twist kid, I’m the one that showed you guys the way out and stayed behind to fight off those guards, so you all could escape from being whipped and forced to work even longer.” he growled, “You’re lucky enough to have accomplished survival, because that’s the only thing I’ve seen you do.”
