The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

(Sorry, I haven’t been getting alerts. What’d I miss?)
“Huh?” She blinked sleepily, not fully registering where she was at first.
(I can't remember if i replied to this or not...?)
"I dont know where it goes, but as long as it's away from here I dont really care." He said finally stepping through to the other side, stumbling awkwardly and some how landing on his feet as he fell through a far too small mirror on the other side. He only glanced briefly at the grey haired stranger holding the mirror. Worriedly checking his surroundings for anything familiar good or bad. The piles of metal objects, sparkling in an unknown light source were a complete shock. He hadn't ever seen a place like this.

Kyle put the crumb back in his pocket and ignored Take’s question. “Child labor place?” he echoed. He began counting the heads, and there were clearly all that had gone missing, along with some additional kids. “Take! You’re awesome!” Kyle said dumbly, not even sure how to praise him. But if they managed to get out on their own, what are we doing here? What’s the next stage of the journey, home?

Korim lowered his hand when he regained control of it and prepared to fling the cursed will-bending mirror across the room. But Cam stayed his hand, standing up. Noah remained like a dog at her feet, wiping his tears from his face with her dress.
“No,” she said, pressing the mirror back into his hands. “We might need it.”
She peered into the sparkling gloom and noticed a barely recognizable heap. ”Kipp... did they... cut your wings?”

(Actually laughing)
“Oh yes!” Kyle said. He had forgotten about the others. Unlike humans and much more like squirrels, little people did not take large meals during the day and instead took small intermittent snacks.
“I almost forgot about that! I’m very sorry about that. Korim probably knows what to do. He helped to set up how the meals were planned.”
(ack why so many charries)
Korim turned. “Dinner?” he asked. “Yes, we have bread and dried meat and mench. Take out a piece, if you desire any.” Mench was a vegetable that could handle a beating and store for a long time. It sadly lacked much flavor.
Kipp turned at his name, nearly dropping the faun when he saw Cam. He didn't drop her though, hugging the little girl to his chest instead as he stared in disbelief.

Cam in a pretty blue dress standing next to grey haired guy, and Noah. "I'm still asleep?" He whispered, the pain he was feeling would say otherwise, but it didn't make sense. "Cam?"

“Where did they take you?” Cam asked, goggling at the adorable fawn-child in his hands. Not many teenage boys would willingly carry a little girl to safety from... whatever place he had been... where we-sas dominated and wings were clipped and... Cam noticed a familiar purple-haired girl, the angry one who seemed to think only she knew best surviving in an alien environment but then succumbed to it. She’s not dead. They’re not dead!
“None of us are dead!” she squealed, hugging Kipp.

Kevin sat down, leaning his gun up against the wall. He frowned down at the stinky bag of peeping birds. He was surprised they had made it this long without getting sick, or dying. Well, permanently that is.
After all this was over, he might even have to name them. Normally names were reserved for the most special of animals, but after all the little peeps had been through, he thought they deserved it.
“Come out, you need to stretch,” Kevin said, reaching his hand in and pulling them out, sitting them down. He watched them for a minute, before leaning back and closing his eyes. He could feel tiny beaks scratch at his pants as the chickens tried to climb on his lap. Or rather, tried to get him to pick them up. He opened an eye, peering down at them. “Use your legs,” Kevin said, patting his leg. “C’mon. I am not helping you.” Deciding they weren’t going to listen, Kevin closed his eyes again.
He was almost asleep, when a scream echoed through the cave. He stood up, grabbing the gun. He couldn’t hear anything else, and didn’t trust the sudden silence.
“Stay,” he said, tossing a bit of food down at his feet. Once he was sure the chickens wouldn’t leave, he crept through the tunnels, his gun loaded and ready for anything that would dare attack.
Once he got to the main cave, instead of meeting another dragon, or a manticore, he only saw who he assumed were the missing children. There were a few other people from the original group that he didn’t realize had left, including the alien looking dude. “You guys,” Kevin said, frowning. He thought they would’ve died already. To see them standing there relatively unharmed was strange. He was happy they were found, yet suspicious. How did they get out? “Portal?” He asked.
Take looked at Kevin with askance, noticing the shotgun in his hands. He nodded slowly, providing him a simple answer “Yeah... you plan on shooting us up with that thing? Magic man?” he asked, messing with the single gold coin he was holding up earlier, now incredibly hot from the warmth of his hand.

"Uhh, I don't really kn-" His mumbling was cut off by her excited squeak. Heat rising in his cheeks as she pulled him into a hug. He wished he could have hugged her back, but accepted that leaning his head against her would do. "Yeah, we're ok."

“You don’t know what happened to you?” Cam asked, dropping her arms and tilting her head to the side. “What did they do to your wings? I’m so sorry about that... are you hurt? Does it hurt?”
Noah had let go of her and was now holding up the treasure in Kylan’s blinking light. “Wait, you’ve got electricity powers? That’s soooo cool,” he said jealously. “Look at all this treasure!” He fell back on it and was momentarily stunned by the pain which results from falling on something solid, but brushed it off with an “Ow,” and began to make gold angels in it.

Kevin mirrored Takes distrustful look. “Were you followed?” He asked, scanning the cave. It seemed too easy to him. They somehow rescued all of the missing kids plus some, survived days in the mines full of we-sa, managed to escape and go through a portal where everyone else was. If the creature Eve killed in the forest was a we-sa, he doubted it would be that easy. Not to mention at a first glance they seemed relatively uninjured. Tired and hungry, but unhurt.
