The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Pics
Bunyanesque canines with hunched backs and cruel eyes were stalking their prey. The meat.
All of the other creatures had been staring hungrily at them. But also fearfully.
The men were as dangerous as themselves.
But together the wolves would be an unstoppable force.
They had been circling the humans for quite a while. Like a tightening noose, the wolves closed in. There would be no escape. If they valued their lives, the small crowd of gifted human would have to fight their way out.
Rylie saw them first, Kyle saw them second.
Red eyes glaring in the darkness. Teeth flashing, gnashing. Direwolves.

Kevin picked up Fred’s glasses and handed them to him, turning back to Lilith as he walked. “No, no, don’t be sorry. It was a funny joke, it just took me a minute to realize that.” He said, speeding up slightly to catch up to the group.
Fred nodded gratefully accepting his scratched glasses

Rylie growled into the darkness, and Kyle raised his hand. He saw something, but in the dim light he couldn’t make it out. He had sharp vision, sharper vision than any human, but fell short in the darkness. That’s where he put his trust in his cat.
“We’re surrounded,” he said. “By... something.” That’s when he heard a howl... much too close. He didn’t even see the creature that made the sound. “Wolves.”

Lilith gave a small smile and shrugged, deciding to just agree with him.
With a blink, she suddenly stopped short, her face going stone cold as she held her dagger with a death grip. "Kevin. Wolves, big ones. They're surrounding us and getting closer, fast." She growled out. Guess he was right, I am the alarm clock.

Kylan stopped dead near Lilith and Kevin, eyes going wide. Slowly, he raised his hands, electricity starting to pop and sizzle as it gathered at his finger tips.

Cam had just been standing there, staring at the silver wolf on Carsons ring, when a real wolf-a mountain of a wolf with tons of muscle and small red eyes set deep in his thick skull- leaped at her, teeth gnashing. Cam screamed as the immense weight of it brought her to the ground. And there was nothing she could do to stop it.
The monster’s nails dug painfully into her ribs and she could smell it’s horrible breath on her face before it’s jaws, bigger than her own head, clamped around her shoulder. The lupine was big as a horse and threw her to the ground a few feet away easily.
Cam couldn’t tell what had happened to her arm, or why she couldn’t move it, but she knew she didn’t want to get up, if such a feat was possible.
Everything hurt, and the fear was crippling. She could be dead. She should be dead. It could’ve crushed her skull, but was instead moving on to its next victim. Someone to die in her place.
So she curled up in a cowardly ball, hoping it thought she was dead. Or that it would end quick.

Kevin looked around, aiming his gun at one of the wolves. The wolves were large enough to get decent headshots, but he wasn’t sure if the type of bullets he had were strong enough to kill them.
Kevin kept his gun trained on the wolf closest to him, waiting until it jumped at him to shoot it directly in the mouth, killing it instantly. The size of it was impressive, seeing as it was almost as big as a horse.
He reloaded his shotgun and aimed it at another wolf. His ammo was limited, and he needed to make sure every shot count.
He was having a difficult time trying to shoot the wolves and hold the struggling mama hen, although he didn’t want to put her down or give her to someone else. It was his chicken, and therefore his responsibility.

Kyle jumped into action. Well not really. He had once considered carrying a weapon, but thumbtacks didn’t really do anything and brought ridicule when carried, while sewing needles proved too feeble.
Would have been nice for putting in sutures though.
And Rylie’s teeth and claws proved lethal for mice but he doubted they could even break the wolves’ heavily muscled skin, if he got that close.
No, the Kyle Beckian fighting method was different from most. Become a major distraction and run like a gazelle.
“Anyone with useful abilities, open fire!” he screeched.
“Go Rylie!” he hissed. “Lead them away!” Kyle wasn’t even sure if the wolves would be interested in the cat, but it would be worth a try. Dodging and navigating, ducking, anything to get the wolves attention.
“Over here!” Kyle screamed, making a valiant effort of waving his arms. Might as well be screaming ‘here doggy,’ for what it’s worth.
A fluorescent tennis ball would be nice right now.

Lilith dropped Tru's leash, making him stay beside Kevin via pushing his leash under a rock. I really hope I didn't just kill my dog. She shot forward, foolishly heading for the closest wolf in a near panic to try and defend the others.
She leapt into the air at full speed, somehow managing to twist herself in the right way while in the air as to land rather ungracefully on the huge wolf's back and gripping it's thick fur in order to stay on the bucking creature. Not wasting a moment's time, she plunged the dagger into it's jugular, ripping downwards as huge drops of blood smeared across her and it's pelt.
She suddenly ripped the dagger out, trying to jerk it in such a way as to cause maximum damage. She jumped, legs flailing as she landed in a heap between Kylan and Kevin-- Leaving the wolf to spin around in confused circles, still unsure if it had ridden itself of the scrawny girl. "Kyl, do your thing!"
He nodded mutely for once, sticking out his arm as his eyes began to glow yellow and electricity began crawling all over his body, shooting out of his outstretched fingers and hitting right at the opened wound, running through its body until it dropped in a smoking mass.
"I hate the flipping planet." Lilith groaned, pulling her already battered self to her feet and re-grabbing Tru's leash. "I don't know if I can do that again."
She turned, watching as Kylan began electrocuting another wolf. Why do I have to have this useless power?

Take stopped in his tracks when he heard the long, animalistic howl. That’s a wolf.. Theres wolves here? He looked over his shoulder, seeing the wolves swarming around the group, using the trees to camouflage. Though he could easily see where they were through his night vision and their glowing red eyes. He pivoted quickly, running to rejoin the group when one of the massive wolves tackled him from the side, slamming him to the ground. The next thing he knew, there was large snapping jaws right in his face, saliva slipping off and dripping onto Takes face. Take gritted his teeth, easily holding the wolf back from tearing his entire face off with one hand, gripping into its rough, sticky scruff. The wolf kept all its weight on top of Take, forcing him down until Take threw his other hand over its skull for a stable hold and snapped its neck with a twist of both hands. It instantly went limp, it’s head hanging in Take’s grasp before he tossed it to the side, wiping the disgusting saliva off his face.
Hana was dealing with her own wolf, holding her katana out in front of her, as it circled around her. Hana did the same, prepared for it to make the first move as it had its lips curled back, fangs completely bared, and ears pinned back against its skull. In a second, the wolf leaped straight at Hana, aiming for her head. Hana held her katana up above her head in a horizontal position, taking a knee and slashing it into the wolves neck, almost completely decapitating it when it landed. She put her katana in her right hand and shoved the wolf off her shoulder with her hardening abilities, granting her strength to move the heavy animal. She came over to Take, flicking the blood off her katana and offering a hand to help him up.
Take was already sitting up, glancing at the hand that was offered to him. He took it and got to his feet without thanking her. He just had a disgusted look on his face, still smelling it’s rancid breath on him. He focused his attention on the other wolves, ready to face them.
