The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

(I have a few native speakers. But not much real life time.)

Clone Korim stepped forward nodding at the older rugae man in greeting. "They don't speak Portsmouth, they need a translator."
“If they don’t speak Portsmouth, where do they come from?” the Rugæ spokesman asked. With a closer look, he saw that they were not totally defenseless. One woman had a long, sheathed sword.

Blair watched the Rugæ spokesman carefully, her eyes a bright golden. She didn't trust them. With all the other dangerous things, she wouldn't be too surprised if they were dangerous, too. She stayed silent, but moved her way to the front of the group after leaving Emma beside Kit. Her posture was defensive, she wasn't sure what they were saying and had no idea if they intended harm for the group or not. If they impale us with those spears, we're done for...

Chion shook her head, that wasn't something she knew. She'd thought they were islanders at first, since they sounded so foreign, but that didn't seem to be the case. "Not from Borealis." Was all that she could honestly say. She had over heard a few things but not specifically where they were from.

If they’re not from Borealis, where could they be from?” the man was growing impatient. The spearmen bristled, and Cam, who had begun to relax as Korim spoke (he had a very relaxing voice) was on edge again.
“They’re from Earth,” Korim said.
“Earth?” A woman asked uncertainly. The word was like a vague memory. She knew of Earth from stories nigh-forgotten of a place that could only be accessed by someone of great power. Earth was a place of legend. Even if they weren’t true, she was curious of what stories these strangers had to tell. “Like in the legends?”
“That is correct,”
said Korim.
The fluffy-panted man looked them over, staring especially at Korim and his dragon, Hannah’s sword, the strange creatures they brought along, and the unicorn horn. “Fine,” he said. “Come with me. I’d like to hear their story. Dragon-brat can translate.”
He waved his hand and the troop of spearmen encircled the group, making them walk forward.

Both Take and Hana didn’t have the slightest idea of what Korim and the spear people were talking about, so all they could do was watch closely for any sign of aggression.

Hana in particularly didn’t enjoy the way the fluffy-panted man looked at her and her katana. She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that something terrible was going to happen.

When Blair left Emma by Kits side, Take moved forward a bit so the girl could be protected if something where to happen in Blair’s absence. He glared at the spearmen that encircled them and forced them to move. He was guessing they were finally being allowed in.

(lol Korim should probably tell the Earthers what's happening.)
"They're allowing us in so we can tell them where we've come from. Just follow them," Korim explained.
"I gathered that much," said Kyle. "Any other important things we should know?"
"I think these people are going to charge more than a unicorn horn for their services."
The group arrived at a much larger hut, more of great hall of sorts. The path ran up to it before splitting around it to feed into the rest of the village. It had great carved stone doors that gave you the impression that the interior was going to be very impressive, or at least impressive in a Spartan sort of way. Those great doors flung wide on their own accord, revealing a short figure sillouetted by flickering firelight. She had a woolen blue dress, grey hair in a bun, and wrinkled tan skin. She probably had once been taller and slimmer, but she was just as intimidating at the same height as Kipp and at her advanced age.
"What are you doing bringing strangers into the Great Hall without asking, Yellin?" she asked, hands on her hips. Korim shuddered. This lady was even more terrifying than his Mam.
The spokesman averted his gaze.
"They came asking for help, so I decided to bring them here for interrogation, Mam."
"Without taking their weapons? You should know well enough to take those precautions."
The lady simply swept her hand and Korim's bow and Hana's katana (Kevin's gun? Is that on his back?) floated to the ground. Cam jumped as her and everyone else's bags suddenly were sucked off their backs as well.
"Honestly, you need better excuses than that, son, but we'll find out soon enough why you all are here, I suppose," the woman said. She gestured for the group to follow.
"Okay, so Fluffypants here is actually named Yellin and Telekinesis Without Our Consent is his mother," Korim explained. "They wish to interrogate us."

Aria blinked before a stupid grin crossed her face, there people had absolutely no idea what all of them put together were capable of. They had someone who just with their voice could kill everyone in this hall, people with electricity, they were not defenceless human beings from earth.

Eve made a grab for her bag as it floated away, there went her paper and charcoal. What was she supposed to do now?

Blair glared at any of the spearman that dared to come within a few feet of her. Not only had she inherited her mother terrifying glare, her golden eyes helped even more with keeping people within a comfortable distance to her.
She took a cautious step back as the woman approached them, watching as she took the weapons away from them. She laughed softly, unable to help herself. This lady had absolutely no idea what she was facing if she thought ridding them of a few weapons was going to protect her.

(Sorry, Ciro, Imma have to drag you along)

Aella followed, for once completely silent, alongside Ciro. She didn't say a word as the spearmen surrounded them, only inched her way into the middle so she didn't have to be close to the strangers with spears, sparks dancing on her fingertips. As the great, carved stone doors flung open with massive force, her eyes widened. The woman had Telekinesis, she realized rather quickly as the packs were forced from her back. A strange noise welled in her throat, and she had to force herself not to hide behind Ciro, even though he wasn't any taller then her. All she could think about was Grayson.
Grayson with his black eyes, a wicked glint to them. Grayson with his out of control Telekinesis. People with that power were powerful, more powerful then some gave them credit for.
But they were also dangerous.
Her hand drifted to the thin fabric necklace around her neck, her fingers dancing over it, careful not to burn it. She glanced around the group warily, unsure of what was even going on,

Emma looked up at Take, her eyes widened. Her little hand tightened around Kit's collar, the border collie suddenly calm beside the little girl. "What's happening?" She asked Take softly, clearly scared. "Where's Aunt Blair?"

Take wasn’t in the least bit threatened by the spearmen—he fought plenty of Dakrium guards wielding those flimsy sticks and he’d do it again here if he had to. He crouched down beside Emma, holding a confident smile on his face. “Hey, everything’s gonna be okay Emma. These people just want to make sure we’re not the bad guys alright? Your aunt will be back soon, I promise.” he stuck out his pinkie for her to curl around with her own. He knew with all that Emma and the other kids went through, a possible chance of it happening again would be their worst nightmare.

Hana was visibly trembling with chagrin of having her katana taken from her possession and leaving it behind to follow the old woman who wished to have the group interrogated. She could care less about what the interrogation would be composed of as she was filled with distress of leaving her treasured weapon behind.

The introduction had gone better than he'd expected, based on the threats in the letter he'd expected them to fly in on griffins and shoot them all on sight no questions asked. They'd ignored the warning, it was their own fault for getting killed this was down right pleasant. Or it was, until the spear weilding guys surrounded them.

Did that mean they were captives again? Were they going to be locked up? He closed his eyes trying to keep himself calm. He slowly made his way closer to Cam and Fred, imagining he might be able to protect them if something happened, allowing the Rugae to herd them the rest of the way up the path.

Korim's explination of what they wanted seemed harmless. If they knew they'd escaped from that horrible place they'd surely want to help them.
The talky guy spoke with the old woman, she seemed to be cranky, and a sweeping gesture from her sent a wave of movement through the group, everyones bags amd weapons being stipped from them.
The sword he'd made at the Daikrium was pulled free from the belt loop he'd stuck it through and clattered on the floor.

It wasn't like he needed it, he wasn't used to fighting with a weapon anyway, but he'd never come across anyone who could do something like that before.

She was powerful, and she was showing them what she could do with just a wave of her hand. They were at her mercy. There'd be no leaving, without her say so. They wouldn't even be able to move if she didn't want them too.

"Okay, so Fluffypants here is actually named Yellin and Telekinesis Without Our Consent is his mother. They wish to interrogate us."

Interrogate? Kipp's stomach turned over, threatening to send the small amount he'd eaten back out his mouth. He wanted out now. It was time to wake up back home in his bed, and be glad that the worst thing he had to face was his dad.

"No!" He demanded stubbornly. Glaring angrily at the old woman Who was already leading them away expecting them all to follow without complaint. "They want to ask us questions, they can ask us here. Together."
